They did a wonderful job refurbishing this former textile factory. Rooms were great, lovely terrace, quiet, charming building, etc. Would be great for small gatherings (as they have a few gathering spaces in the hold headquarters). Also a very nice restaurant, brewery and boutique stores in the complex. Only "downside" is that it is a 10 min drive to the city center and not that nice of walk (if you chose to walk there).

Hotel Hercules is a gem of an experience! it is by far the greatest example I've experienced of repurposing something old with historical, architectural importance into something new and fresh while maintaining authenticity! There is plenty to enjoy, including three restaurants, artisan shops, the heated pool and spa amenities, the beer garden, and dancing and live performances on scheduled days. I look forward to my next visit!

The rooms are very clean. The staff is very good. The spa in the pool is the best I’ve ever seen. This is by far a five-star hotel and whenever I come to Mexico, this is where I will stay. I love my stay here.

Overall, a very good experience. The hotel and rooms are beautiful and cozy. They have everything you need. The only thing I would have liked is for massages to have a discount for guests, not just the spa services. I suggest booking massages as soon as possible, as there are limited slots and they fill up very quickly. Another thing is that there should be a shuttle service from the hotel to the brunch/brewery, as it's quite a distance. There should also be a closer entrance for guests instead of having to walk to the parking lot. But overall, a very nice experience. Everything was clean and the staff was very kind. I will definitely return.

We stayed in the master suite for our anniversary and unfortunately the room we were given was on the corner almost facing the adjacent building. In the photos there are rooms with beautiful views and balconies so I guess we were just unlucky with the room we were given. No view, no balcony. Next time I will request ahead of time and hopefully we’ll be able to have an enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately our room had multiple problems. The bedside lights were broken and the overhead light was too bright. We asked reception to fix it and they brought large bright bulbs to replace them. We had to put towels over them to dim them. There was a drain smell in the room to which the maintenance came and sprayed febreze or some other spray to ‘cover’ the smell and it left the room with a strong chemical odor. And lastly the aircon unit was broken. It didn’t properly cool down the room. This is the third time we’ve stayed and each time we choose balcony or ‘view’ and we’ve never had a balcony or a view. On a high note the spa area is very enjoyable and so is the restaurant onsite.

One word describes this property....WOW all in one resort never had to leave, extremely maintained property. Celebrated our 33 yr wedding anniversary here and will be back with our family.
