Beautiful property. Great access to a wonderful little beach. Be prepared to walk. 20 minutes down to the beach and 15-20 minutes up hill back to the hotel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Saw lots of monkeys and lizards at the property.

We had an amazing stay! Clean room, yummy restaurant, lovely beach accessible, cool pool, stunning views, crazy monkeys for entertainment, and market available with snacks and essentials. We arrived to a gift of wine in our room, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. With the gated entrance, we felt very safe, but the whole area seemed safe and walkable (if you can do those steep inclines!). We’d love to stay again!

The ocean was visible from the restaurant and pool. Great food at the restaurant. We had the Tico Roll, hamburger, Hawaiian pizza cooked in a wood fire oven and a chicken wrap. All were splendid. Excellent choices at the breakfast buffet. Lovely maintained pool with a bar that had a happy hour. The only drawback was the steep walk to our room, to the beach or to get to the main road which was a km away. It didn't bother us but if you don't like a challenge grab a can. Rides in a golf cart we're provided if needed. Beach was excellent but wear swim shoes because of the lovely lava rock. Plenty of restaurants within the km. The staff was extremely friendly. So happy with our choice.

Loved this property. We had an ocean view room on the 2nd floor in building 3. The property is small and on a steep incline, but has everything you need. They have a small store, a pool with outdoor bar, outdoor restaurant, and walkway to the beach. Walk to beach is about 5 minutes and steep. Wear shoes. Due to the incline the property sits on, golf carts are available to drive you from your room to pool/restaurant, though its only about 20 yards. We walked each time with no problems. Included breakfast offered a great variety of foods and tasted great. All staff, except one parking lot attendant, was exceptional and went above and beyond. Sydney at the restaurant and bar made our stay fantastic! He was the best! View of ocean and mountains from pool and restaurant is beautiful. Monkeys and birds seen multiple times a day.
