This is the best hotel of our trip. The beachfront location is unbeatable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant served excellent breakfast and dinner. We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We had the delux beachfront villa. The villa was amazing !!! Such a cool relaxed vibe. Beautiful artwork. Such an amazing space. The restaurants food was great and reasonably priced. Just wish we had longer there. The private pool was fantastic.

This location was a dream. It felt like we had private beach, pools and restaurant at times. I don’t know if it was slow season but it was perfect. The pools would have been nicer if they weren’t so warm and there could have been more beach umbrellas, sunshades, lounge chairs, etc.

Our family of 4 spent 4 nights at Alma per a friends recommendation and it absolutely did not disappoint. Everything was very calm and relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful in keeping our room clean as well as providing options for excursions, and the property was beautiful. A fantastic boutique place! 20 individual bungaloes, each with own, private outside area for sitting and enjoying native foliage. Beautifully appointed room, with 2 beds and couch. Indoor and outdoor showers for your room. Beautiful landscaping along walkways and pool areas. Secluded beach with loungers. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Spa massage was wonderful. Restaurant portions were generous, tho menu was somewhat limited. Service was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Alma! It was everything we were looking for and more. The amenities and room were great and being able to walk to the beach was key for us as we saw the best sunsets every day. The staff were also great, Angie and Juan were always helpful, nice and got us everything we needed. Some small recommendations is to have some more lounge chairs by the beach as sometimes they were hard to find. And a bar by the pool would have been awesome. Otherwise, we loved staying at Alma.

What a wonderful property this is. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. The 2 pools are wonderful and the beach just goes on and on. The beachfront room has an amazing view and is supplied with everything needed. Food was great as was service. Best stay ever in Costa Rica’

Amazing place! A very romantic place with a great family atmosphere. Much love has gone into this place to make it special! Perfectly manicured gardens with hand tools. Perfect in every way. Prettiest beach along the Southern Pacific coast and I’ve stayed at them all. The food was great and the hospitality was a 10plus. Loved the indoor/outdoor shower. Truly a dream and can’t wait to return.

Grounds were spectacular, flowers, green grass, palm trees, right on the beach. Swimming at high-tide was safe and fun. The pool was enjoyable and rooms were open and spacious. The grounds keeper even pointed out a family of sloths living in trees outside our room. Next time we'll stay a week!

This was a beautiful, small property on the Pacific Ocean. I loved sleeping on the hammocks on the beach. Our bungalow faced the ocean. The ocean was too rough to swim in comfortably for me. The staff was amazing. The room was super cute and clean. The bed was very hard, but overall, definately recommend for adults.
