We always stay at the Heritage. Beautiful hotel with amazing views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. Bus stop just outside the hotel. Bus every 15 minutes. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Staff are excellent. Restaurant with log fire excellent. Pool, spa and sauna. This place is 10/10 for hospitality. This is the second time we have booked this year. We have already booked for next year. Can’t wait. Recommend the Heritage 100%.

Beautiful location with plenty of nice hangout spaces and a fire in the reception area as well as in the bar/ restaurant. The lake with snowcapped mountains in the background is a stunning backdrop. The breakfast was exceptional but dinner not as much. We got a family suite with 2 bedrooms, a living area, and kitchen and it was just right. Hot tub wasn't very hot and was right under a very bright neon light- so not a great atmosphere there. But otherwise we really enjoyed this hotel. Maybe a bit expensive for what it is and parking was $15/ day, but would definitely consider staying again

Very clean, warm and quiet. Breakfast was great and location was good . Check in and check out procedures could be improved as this took a long time . Parking is charged at $15 per night which wasn’t mentioned in Expedia when booking hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was ok not the best but not the worst we have had. Our bed was a bit worn as it sunk down in the middle. Apart from those minor things we really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The ambience was warm and well insulated. The food was great. Amenities were very useful and good. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Some constructive feedback in the hope that this could be improved. The cleaning of the room could have been carried out with more attention to detail. Unfortunately, our rubbish bins were not emptied, and the toilet was not cleaned efficiently. There were poo marks on the toilet bowl after the cleaner had left. On arrival we were assigned a room and unfortunately some other guests also had the same room keys.

Good hotel - near the no1 bus and its stop. That takes you to the ski resort or to the airport.staff were really lovely and helped in sourcing a taxi. Plenty of food at breakfast whatever the time. (We went at 6am and 9am). Down side: hotel rooms were tired, shower tray leaked, window frame was peeling. WiFi was intermittent. Overall great hotel with the staff and breakfast that made it 4 *

When a person is traveling, regardless of the purpose or duration of the travel, these people are away from their own lives, homes, comfort zones, friends, family, etc. Therefore, these travelers need and want a place to stay that is so wonderfully cozy and peaceful, so they can relax, destress, unwind, and feel right at home!
