About 2Km walking distant from downtown with beautiful view to the lake and part of town. Uber and taxi fare are so high and foods as well not cheap though.

Great, comfortable stay

Excellent location, a few minutes walk down the hill to town centre. Friendly staff. Spacious, basic room, clean and comfortable. Parking is free but first in, first served, so you may have to find a parking spot elsewhere which is difficult in Queenstown.

We enjoyed another lovely stay at Heartland Hotel. Convenient for its location and close distance to the Queenstown Gardens and the waterfront. Just needs a bit of a spruce up in the bathrooms and rooms.

Loved our stay here. Staff and facilities were excellent. Breakfast was lovely and we could easily walk to downtown Queenstown. The steep hill walk home would get the occasional whine from the family but the bedroom views made up for it when you got back.
