Outstanding stay at this property. Close to the town center just 10m walk. We had booked 6 nights stay and during check in upgraded our room to lake view with 60$/night which was worth as it gave us stunning view of lake and mountains and we had 2nd floor room which was connected to the lawn garden.. staff is friendly and helpful. Paid extra for a lake view balcony room and the views were good. I paid at the property but was charged in GBP which ended up with a charge of £40 higher than the NZ$ rate. I loved the view of the lake & mountains from my room. Such a magical sight to wake up to. My steak was cooked to perfection. Could taste the love in the food and the staff were very accommodating. The only improvement over all would be to update their guest laundry with new washing machines & dryers to facilitate the number of guests onsite.
