Staff provided very good services. The garden with a pond is a beautiful addition to the property. The quality of the dinner was unexpectedly high. The salmon that we had was among the best that we have had. Another order of tataki salad was served with very fresh ingredients and was really very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Robert very helpful on arrival the check in was quite satisfactory. Warning they do not have elevator but will assist with your bags . My reservation was for a king bed , we did not get that but the bedding was lovely, the bed itself not so comfortable. Stiff back by second night . Also a beverage credit was not applied as per my reservation . The restaurant was fine we ate dinner both nights and enjoyed both. Our server was Marykim who provided excellent service . We did not use pool or spa , both looked nice. From the hotel it’s a $30 dollar uber to Old Quebec and was easy to Uber . Parking is $20 per night and resort fees $30 per night. Parking is secure and safe . This is a peaceful hotel in a nice residential neighbourhood.

Beautiful property both during the day and at night — very well maintained, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing away from the city rush. The service at both the reception and the restaurant was excellent and welcoming throughout our stay. The restaurant menu was somewhat limited and the portions were on the smaller side, but the wine selection was excellent. The heated pool and multi-person jacuzzi were both clean and enjoyable. We also appreciated the bathrobes in the room and the extra towels provided. The furniture in the room felt a little outdated, but the bed was clean and comfortable. All necessary bathroom amenities were available and of good quality. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here. The only thing we did not fully understand was the parking charge added at checkout.

Full disclosure this property was in the midst of renovations for the upper floors/rooms. Our room was clean albeit dated— would akin it to the hotel from ‘the shining’ minus the twins. Amenities were also dated (hot tub) but the lobby was spectacular and clean! A happy surprise: the food was definitely the highlight. The staff was also fantastic. Dinner was definitely 10/10 with a great wine selection as well.

Nice small resort hotel about 25 minutes of driving to the Quebec City old town. The pool was great to relax in the evening. Restaurant was great both food and service (the prices are reasonable). The suite was comfortable. The hotel needs some updating, especially carpets should be replaced (they look pretty bad). Overall, I would stay again and would recommend it to others.

The receptionist was very kind and patient. The anemities were exactly what I needed as a tired mother of 2 young children. I will just say that my room had a smell. I think the occupants before me were smoking in it. I regret not saying anything, but I was too tired. Luckily, the bed was very comfortable and I slept very well!

La Bon is a fantastic place to stay and the property is just gorgeous. It’s a little dated but I think that just adds to its charm.

Very beautiful grounds. Nit the chateau Frontenac but most of us cannot afford that. I would stay here again. It is truly a resort without the exorbitant price.

We stayed in the cooning room. It was so romantic and relaxing. We enjoyed the bar side pool , it was perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The food was incredible. Would definitely recommend this hotel to a couple wanted to get away for a weekend!
