Our stay was average. We noticed that the room was dusty especially around the TV. We booked the kitchenette and their can opener was terrible and there were no cereal bowls. They had tiny desert bowls or a large mixing bowl. We used the mixing bowl to eat our cereal in and washed it out between uses. Our chief complaint was when booking on Expedia we had two adults and two 15 year old children (this property considers 17 and under at time of travel to be children) we got charged a $100 extra guest fee. We stayed for 2 nights. When we got to the hotel they charged us the same amount but didn’t notice until we got home that the fee for extra children was only $15 each. We called the hotel and they emailed us a copy of the invoice which we did not receive at check in or check out of the breakdown in cost and the invoice showed that they had raised the rate of the room by $50 per night but did not “charge us the $100 extra guest fee” which they did by raising the cost of the room by $50 per night. We called and the staff was unwilling to reimburse us for any over payment.
