Location was excellent. The hotel beautiful and the room was comfortable, but would describe this hotel as a self-serve hotel because there was no reception staff/only housekeeping who were very nice.

The location and historic charm along with nearby gastronomical excellence tempted us to choose this offering. We were not disappointed. Bookings and communication require computer savvy which may frustrate older computer challenged patrons.

The Hotel is quite nice, very convenient to dining and transportation. Although the hotel has no front desk or elevators it was not too difficult for us. The web site was very specific on details. The hotel relied on texting, the responses were quick and informative. We had a 1st floor room and it was spacious and comfortable. The custodial staff were very helpful. We wanted to leave our bags there before check-in. We were not sure about leaving them in the lobby, but the staff stated it was fine as there were cameras and code to enter the hotel. I do wish there was a TV cheat sheet as the screens were in French as we tried to find a sports channel.

The property has lots of character. A little noisy at night from bar/restaurant nearby. The slopped ceilings were a little obstacle on third floor. Banged our heads a couple of times. I am 6 foot tall. No 24 hour attendant however easy to contact and very responsive. We had an enjoyable experience.

This hotel used to be wonderful when it was family owned. Now it is owned by an impersonal chain. There is no personal reception, no concierge. You have to register online and you have to use codes to get into the hotel and the room. They have destroyed the romance of the old place. It also used to have a wonderful breakfast downstairs. No more. But it is a great location.

Small hotel with a lovely room filled with French antiques. The location was great, easy walking distance to all of Old Quebec. They have limited parking so make sure to confirm that if you need it. We had to park in a nearby garage.

Perfect location for exploring Old Montreal!

This was a great choice if you’re into a casual, DIY-type expérience. The room is well-outfitted for prepping your own meals, if you want. Well-situated for walking to dining establishments, if you’re not into DIY. Comfortable bedding, spacious accommodations. Great communications with management. Highly recommend this place!

Great hotel in the heart of Old Quebec. Can’t beat the location. Cool antique interior. We stayed 2 nights, the room was small (as expected) but we didn’t spend much time inside. The bed was comfortable, My only minor complaints are that our Nespresso pods weren’t refilled when they cleaned the room- there was only decaf left, including in the kitchen downstairs which was stocked with “extras”. The chair and one of the lamp shades in our room were badly water stained, and the mirrors were crooked.

Great location, overall nice hotel.

Overall it was good. The location is great, near every important site. The human reception is lacking, we never saw any person for check in or client service, everything is online or on the phone, and it's always better to be able to speak to someone in person.
