Originally booked at hotel Belley but we arrived earlier, since they share the same front desk as St. Paul the hotel across the street, St. Paul was able to accommodate us for $50 more per night. The hotel was great, clean and amazing staff.

Location perfect for exploring Old Town. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room good size but bathroom needs updating a little. No lift and if on top floor, very difficult with suitcases and no assistance with these. Lower floors will experience some noise from the bar below but we didn’t experience this on the third floor.

Bathroom light was out, table lamp was loose, some wall lights were out, the queen bad was making louder squeeze noises when you turning. We could not get the sleep for whole night. The staff was very nice able to change the hotel for us in second night. It was not a good experience.

A nice little hotel spread across several buildings. We had a nice, quiet, comfortable stay. Le Belley pub across the road was busy and loud, but not too late and we were far enough away not to be bothered. Located within a 2 to 15 minute walking distance of pretty much everything, but quite hilly for anyone with mobility issues. We really enjoyed the stay.

Very steep and long stairs to the second floor rooms. No soap provided for the sink in the bathroom. Air conditioner made the room very cold despite setting the temperature at 74 degrees F. Shower stall was very small, with no anti-slip material on the floor of the stall and no safety bars. The music from the bar on the first floor of the hotel was a disturbance until well past midnight. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel is situated close to Quebec City Lower Town.

Very clean, large, bright room with black out curtains. Pretty room with exposed brick in a safe area walking to many restos/chateau Frontenac/rue petite Champlain. Wished windows opened for fresh air but fan/air worked well. Comfie bed and pillows. Charming bar downstairs with lovely staff and friendly patrons. Easy parking nearby.

The room was clean and the staff at check in were great. The reason for the bad rating is that this hotel is above a bar. Music was going to about 325 am and people out on the side walk having smokes and waiting for Ubers until about 230 am. This was not a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. If your looking for a good night sleep you may want to consider a different location.

Hotel Belley is a unique property that works with Hotel Le Saint Paul. The check in is at Saint Paul and the front desk staff was very friendly and held my luggage after check out so that I could explore Quebec City with no worries. Check in and check out was very easy. The room itself was clean and simple and was perfect for a quick overnight. The bar downstairs was very nice and lively. It was a little noisy in my room after I went to bed but earplugs did the trick. It was very close to the train station and port which also fit in perfectly for my trip. For budget conscious people, it is a perfect place to stay for your trip to Quebec City.

Confusing process to check in because our train was late and we didn’t get there until after 11pm; be well prepared if you think you’ll be late. Once the front desk person arrived he was super helpful. All front desk staff that we dealt with at Hotel St Paul were very good and super helpful. Hotel is very close to the train station which was great. Be prepared for steep stairs. Rooms were clean and mine was more updated than my friend’s room.
