The Hotel Dufferin is a quirky old building with lots of interesting features. The staff were very helpful. The location is fabulous! The terrace boardwalk is right outside the front door and you are in the heart of the old walled city.

It's an old-fashioned but very cozy type of hotel. Its location is PERFECT, walking distance from the Chateau Frontenac and main tourist spots! The single room is quite small but it's spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom. If you arrive at the hotel after 7 pm, you have to follow instructions to do your self check in, but it was all easy for me, even though I'm in my sixties! There's no elevator, and my room was on the 4th floor, but there's always someone to help you. The receptionist, Gabrielle, is lovely and she is always willing to assist you. I would really recommend staying here.

A cute, little hotel in the heart of Quebec City. Nice view of the river. Although the hotel itself is little bit on an older side, it is very personal, clean and cozy. The ladies in the reception are very lovely and helpful. Easy parking next to the hotel. However, if a guest is a disabled person, it’s great to call ahead since there is no elevator. We appreciated the walking distance to main tourist attractions.

Everything was great we were in the heart of the old city very easy to walk around and explore. Parking was good because they had enough spots but I could imagine that being a challenge if ever the ran out of parking spots as parking is limited. rooms are pretty small but they had everything you really need from a hotel so no complaints

If you love historic, heritage-style hotels, this place is absolutely one of the best choices you can make. The location is exceptional, with easy access to everything. The director and management team are incredibly generous, warm, and genuinely welcoming. I had a truly memorable stay here.
