“Good size clean room, comfortable bed and chairs, an old property with damp coming through ceiling of bay window but the building is being renovated. Very good location close to all amenities. Overall very good value for the money!”

“No disabled parking unless you pay an extra £30 night for valet parking. Poor service ordering hot food at breakfast, not enough staff taking orders. Restaurant not clean, skirting areas dusty and walls marked. Cost of room per night not reflected in the quality of service generally. A smile and a pleasant welcome costs nothing - but mostly lacking in staff. Disappointed.”

“Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.”

“The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when asking for additional pillows ( only 1 pp provided). The breakfast was good and tasty and plenty of attentive staff if needed. The hotel rooms however are very tired with very poor decor standards. Tiles in the bathroom were miss-matched and grubby and flooring lifting in places. Was surprised to have to pay £5 to park the car as a resident though”
