The Downstream Casino Resort is wonderful!! Had the best stay! The property is pristine. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and spotless. The pools are great. Camden is a wonderful bartender. Professional and so friendly. Every staff member I encountered was so helpful and nice. The hotel agent that checked me in was so sweet. I wish I had asked her name. Enjoyed learning some history about Quapaw Nation. The casino was fun too! Won $100! Only 6 miles from Galena, KS where I started my Route 66 trip. Will definitely stay again!

Downstream casino, hotel is very clean, very well, staffed, and an excellent place to stay. Secondly, and perhaps most importantly for many people. This was $89 a night and so many hotels within a 10 mile range or over $200-$300 per night before tax. And that would include many average two and three star hotels which is ridiculous. This hotel should really be a four star hotel if it does not already rated as four stars.

Bathroom was gross, the toilet to be specific. The room smelled like cigarettes. I get it’s a casino hotel, but smelled like people were smoking in my room. To get checked in was horrendous. Huge traveling group. I get it, but no thought to queue up a second line for people not part of the group.

I paid Expedia 218.33 and was to owe 20 at property. At property I was charged 90.35 twice. Expedia did refund me 84.65 on 7-10-26. So I was over charged by Expedia. Hotel did not receive their payment from Expedia. Wondering why this has not been taken care of.
