My family and I had the best time there the rooms were clean staff was very friendly and the pools were amazing! We especially liked the build a buddys and the pillow making the two ladies there were so helpful and so nice and the kids and the adults loved it and them!!! Will definitely be staying there again!!!

Fun and different lodging experience, well suited to people who like to be closer to nature without the hassle of hauling your own camper. A little pricey, and amenities more suited to families (we were three buddies on a trip). Overall, a great experience.

Clean, beautiful property. I got the 2 bedroom deluxe condo and it was very spacious.

Horrible business management. I booked a 2 night stay at Wyndham Great smokies lodge to celebrate our son’s 3rd birthday. He was so excited to stay here and use the water park. We booked well in advance and paid in advance. We drove several hours to get to this hotel. While we were in route and less than an hour from the hotel to check in, Wyndham calls and states they have overbooked the hotel and cancelling my reservation. They offered to put my in a different hotel which is obviously less nice and does not have a water park. Horrible business practice. I showed up to the hotel regardless and they advised they overbooked the hotel all the while letting other guest check in beside me. I was just “selected” to have my booking cancelled.

This is an amazingly beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything you need is here. There’s free coffee, tea, bottled water, sodas, snacks, etc. down stairs, and coffee in your room. My room was beautifully decorated. I had a free bottle of wine waiting for me, comfy robes and towels in the closet, a new package of coffee in the kitchen, and coasters exactly where I needed them. The flow from the shower head was a good flow. If I come back to Asheville, I will book again . Why mess with perfection? This hotel is perfect!

Loves our trip to the island only complaints we had was we were in a river view room with no view of the river because the trees were so over grown and we had 2 separate reservations and when checking in the second time didn't receive any of the coupons for free drinks or any show coupons
