“Amazing room and amazing staff. So very helpful and informative!”

“We had a bad experience with the hotel's social media support and management, but the hotel itself is very beautiful. The views are spectacular, and the staff's service is excellent—they're always available when you need something. I especially want to highlight the attention and the food from the cook, Lili. I truly believe the hotel would lose its essence without her. One thing to note: there are a lot of stairs, so you need to be in good shape to access the rooms.”

“This place has complicate location the entrence was on terrible conditions and the personal leaves the cabins at 2 pm and nearly answer the phones”

“The lodge is a beautiful “rustic” oasis 1 hour away from Manuel Antonio. The home cooked meals, peaceful vistas and sounds of nature were just what we needed to unwind. The road there was rough, but we made it in a 4x4 as it rained. The waterfall excursion proved a highlight for kids and adults alike. Wish we would have stayed more than 1 night! Amazing place with a great vision and local pride.”

“Lovely staff, great food, as others have said it's very rustic which depends on your point of view how you take that. I loved it however, both ATV transfers we asked for didn't materialise which, esp for the route back, was mildly annoying. Being in the room whilst it was raining cats and dogs during the night was incredible”

“Great place”

“Excellent time at Cativo Lodge! The hotel is so beautiful the room is big, comfortable and with great amenities. But the best of the hotel is the staff and how they make us to feel like home! Thanks to GM Kenneth; Mike, Ivan, Alonso, Kevin and many others! Great customer service!”
