Vacations Close To Punta Gorda Cemetery

This was a wonderful little boutique hotel. The staff was friendly. The hotel was beautiful and clean. Every room has an ocean view. The beach is clean and raked regularly. Elvis at the beach bar makes amazing drinks. Breakfast is included and made fresh. My family really enjoyed this hotel and would go back. Our only issue is the beds are very firm and we prefer softer mattresses.

The resort is situated beach front and the view is beautiful. We were there during slow season so certain things weren't open or limited. The food was great! The Pool was wonderful. Service was a little slow but I think it was from lack of staff since it was slow season. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was perfect our family of 5. 3 adults 2 children. Air conditioning worked great. There was trouble getting into our room when we arrived due to faulty key issues. The resort itself could use some repairs. The pool lights were out, some outdoor lights were out, coffee maker was broken. We advised the front desk but wasn't fixed while we were there. The rug is main living area had huge stain on it and should have been replaced. The wood flooring in the outdoor areas was a little hazardous boards were loose in many areas and my grandson even stepped on a rusted screw that had come out of one (fortunately it didn't cut him). Rooms were cleaned daily. While we enjoyed our stay I can't say for I would stay there again unless some upgrades were done.

The entire staff was very nice and helpful and cheerful. They clearly like their jobs. The room was very clean. Special mention for Adrian who transported me from and to the airport, very knowledgeable about the country and its culture. I loved the breakfast. I will stay there again.

Belize Reef Escape at St Georges Caye offers an unforgettable island getaway with some of the most breathtaking views of Belize’s famous blue waters. The resort’s location is ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty—every sunrise and sunset is picture-perfect. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible Belizean food, lovingly prepared by Yoli. Every meal was a treat, featuring local flavors and fresh ingredients. The rooms were clean and provided a comfortable, peaceful environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The staff at Belize Reef Escape were exceptionally attentive, always ready to help and ensure a wonderful experience. Excursions organized by the resort were a blast—snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, and more. We highly recommend asking for Jay when booking excursions; he brings so much energy and fun to every trip, making each outing memorable. It’s worth noting that there aren’t sandy beaches at the resort or on the island, but the clear blue waters, laying in the hammocks and reading our books and the amazing excursions more than make up for it. We did have some issues with the hot water in our room, but this may have been user error, and the staff was quick to address it. I’m confident it’s no longer an issue. Overall, Belize Reef Escape on St Georges Caye is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for relaxation and authentic Belizean hospitality. This resort was wonderful, and I particularly appreciated having the privacy of the resort side while still being able to enjoy the restaurant and bar on the public side. While the property itself was lovely, the staff was the true highlight of the experience. Everyone I encountered was friendly, kind, and went above and beyond for us every day. I would like to specifically commend the front desk team, the waitstaff, the bartenders, security and the event coordinators for their exceptional service. They truly made my birthday trip special, and their hospitality did not go unnoticed. Thank you for such an amazing stay. I look forward to returning in the future.

As a road warrior over decades, I have seen good and bad, but I have rarely seen the attentiveness of the staff such as here at the Grand Resort. Always pleasant but exceptionally helpful. I had an emergency shoe repair needed for my only dress pair, and it was late on a Sunday when it was identified. The staff worked out where to get glue, sent a courier, and within an hour it was repaired. Incredible! I have literally never seen anything like it. The next day my meeting ran late, and there was the hotel driver still waiting patiently after 45 minutes. Just an incredible group, and management has reason to be proud of their selection of this team and what great efforts they go to for the hotel. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but this team, especially those at the Front Desk and with shuttle driver need special recognition. I will definitely be back, and encourage my other business associates to also make this their hotel of choice.
