Vacations Close To Punta Colorada Beach

I enjoyed the Teatro Tehuacan. And the pool foam party.

Exceeded all my expectations! The Altitude room with the beach front swim out pool is a must! It felt like I was in my own little private apartment in Cabo! Will definitely be back!

You get a beautiful view from almost all locations. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. I didn't eat at all of the restaurants but the pizza at Il Forno was good. As were the drinks! I would have liked to see a few Mexican options on the menu, but, I could have ventured around the property to a different restaurant if it was really an issue. It was low season, but they seemed fully staffed and everything was open. The only comment I have is that I waited over an hour for help with my luggage on check out, despite making several calls. I had given myself plenty of time for the airport, but that could have been an issue for someone on a tighter schedule.

Overall, we had a good stay thanks to the friendly staff, good food, and an excellent room location. Breakfast was consistently enjoyable and stood out among the dining options. The biggest disappointment was the alcohol selection. Tecate was the only draft beer available throughout the grounds, and the room minibar included just two Carta Blanca beers per day. When we wanted more, we had to order and pay for them through room service. The liquor offerings throughout the resort were also limited to lower-end brands. My biggest recommendation is to watch out for the timeshare sales representatives. The hotel specifically warned guests in writing about avoiding them at the airport, yet similar representatives (concierges) were waiting at the resort and actively approaching arriving guests. It felt inconsistent with the hotel's own advice.

We stayed at this hotel for 8 days and overall had a very pleasant experience. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel has several swimming pools with plenty of lounge chairs. A big plus was that the hotel was only about 50% occupied during our stay, so it was always easy to find a good spot and a chair near the pool. I’m giving 4 stars mainly because of the food. The breakfast selection was limited, with very little variety and many of the same dishes every day. We especially liked the steakhouse and Italian restaurant. Caesar at steakhouse was also very good and made the Caesar salad from scratch, which was a nice touch. The biggest area for improvement is entertainment. There was almost no entertainment during our stay. It would be great to have more live music in the restaurants and around the bars in the evenings to create a livelier atmosphere. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back. With better food variety and more evening entertainment, this hotel could easily be a 5-star experience.
