Excellent all around. The hotel even upgraded us to a suite for celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary with them. We had a wonderful time and each of the restaurants on site were absolutely delicious. The staff was truly 5 stars!! from greeting to helping to remembering our names by the next day of our stay. We will definitely go back with the rest of our family. Big shout out to Andres !!! our personal concierge assistant who helped us navigate activities, reservations and things to do all around during our stay. We are forever thankful.

The only downside was it had a number of mosquitoes inside, and squished on walls etc in several places. The pools at the resort are nice, quiet and easy to find a lounger. The suites are beautiful and very spacious. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Great place to relax. Things to know: NO elevators, you need to take the stairs 3 floors up. I had a pleasant experience at Zel Punta Cana ! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive to all of our needs. I would say cleanliness could have been better in our room. The staff was more than happy to clean when requested. The overall cleanliness of the property was amazing ! Thank you especially to Raphy who assisted with making my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. If you need anything anything at all they will get it done. We were lucky to have Keiden to greet us and he was our personal concierge during our entire stay. Luis the waiter has my 5 stars, he is absolutely magical. There were some children so it’s not adults exclusively. If you like the beach check before going for seaweed but if the pool is all you need it’s clean and welcoming. Zel Melia is small but caring. Again the staff is exceptional; they truly will go out of the way to make your stay worthwhile.
