Service was excellent. From the minute we walked in to the hotel to the time we left. The room was clean as we're the restaurants, pools, beach and other areas. This was our second time visiting this resort and will definitely go back.

Be mindful we traveled in Oct & did book the unique experience which comes with its perks. Staff was always helpful & ready. You never have to wait too long for food or a drink. Since they opened the new side Cobas recently we were able to visit & to be fair Im very with booking the Costa Bávaro bc the staff & attention was 100xs better as well as food. Which is interesting to see as youd expect the newer side to be top tier but it wasnt. It felt more crowded as well which i think is due to the layout of the greenery & pools. But Costa Bavaro was amazing I would go back.

I loved this location. Everything was great except the food Italian food at the cave. Everything else amazing 10/10. The drinks were great the staff was great. The bathroom set up was a bit uncomfortable sharing it with my bf and it being semi open but everything else amazing!!!!

Our family had a wonderful time at Lopesan Resort! As part of our Unique Experience we enjoyed the best of service from the staff at the restaurant for breakfast and lunch to the exclusive restaurants at night. Everyone was amazing, Dionni, Fernando, William (the entire crew which I can’t remember all the names) at breakfast and lunch, the chef who cooked our food at the bbq grill!! The crew from the bowling club helped keep our kiddo entertained. The bartenders always had a great energy and excellent drinks recommendations. We wish to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay! We traveled with our 6-year-old, and there was more than enough to keep everyone entertained, both during the day and in the evening. The staff was incredibly attentive, and friendly. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. We truly enjoyed our experience and would definitely recommend it.

Lopesan was a great experience overall. Good food, drinks and service. The unique package is an step above that is well worth the price. Had zero inconveniences, place was full but not crowded. Been to many resorts in the island and this has been the best so far. Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful. But the food was horrible and thats about 70% of the experience. It’s almost as if they’re intentionally cooking bad. Zero seasoning, cold food, stale. I literally had to ask for rum to give me my food hot at some os the restaurants I had to ask for them to add seasoning to my steak for the love of God this is the Caribbean not bland city! Once again hotel looks AMAZING but IF ONLY it had good food it’s would be highly rated. DO NOT BELEIVE WHAT CHAT GPT tells you the food is garbage. Water parks, and access to the other hotel was great feature. MY CONCIERGE was the absolute best! Especially with accommodations for my wife’s bday. Very appreciative for him. The food was tremendous disappointment. The only place worth eating was the hibachi spot. And lastly I didn’t feel the love like I have in other hotels Ive stayed at in DR. But I guess that everywhere nowadays.

We didn't feel the unique club upgrade was necessarily worth the cost. Yes our room was closer to the beach and we received a butler. The shower in our room had no water pressure if you had it on hot and if you were okay with a freezing shower you could have some water pressure. The beach isn't the best since there are party boats parked directly out front and constantly coming and going all day. We really enjoyed being more on the new side and spent most of our time there. Our motto for this resort was "Lopesan, the almost resort" because it felt things were "almost nice" or "almost thought through". The food was good in the specialty restaurants but it would be brought to the table cold so it was "almost" excellent. We found it had a larger language barrier than we were expecting, especially in the restaurants. The bartenders all spoke really good english. Several times we ordered one thing at the restaurants and received something completely different. When it was brought up, we were told that's what we ordered. We found that Barcelo Bavaro had better dinner service. Overall 7/10 rating.

The premises are beautiful, a little too big for my preference but it is aesthetically beautiful. However the food quality is not good and served cold in most outlets, even the “best”restaurants are just ok. There’s plenty to do for the kids. Not many adults only areas. Service was good. You basically pay for the aesthetic.

My experience comes from staying at the unique club. The hotel is very modern and very instagram looking. There’s a lot of attention to detail. Everywhere you look you see a detail or decoration. Very clean grounds and interiors. The room had a humidity smell the first hours, ac was off. Once ac turns on smell goes away. Ac is cold as to provide a good night sleep. Rooms are quiet because the activities take place at the boulevard. There are plenty of open spaces to walk and is a very smoke friendly resort. Lots of maintenance staff. There’s plenty to do, and plenty of places to grab a bite. Restaurants are good for an all inclusive and definitely the japanese and the Mexican are above the rest. Plenty of pools, beach is very well situated. Unique beach club has a perfect location and the food is a lot better quality than the buffets. Definitely worth it to get the upgrade to unique, having a butler is very convenient. Special thanks to Ronald my assigned butler at unique club.

Loved the coffee shop and so many pool areas/bars/restaurants. Particularly liked the unique beach and breakfast/bar area. Also extra touches for birthday with banner, balloons etc. We brought hang up dehumidifier disposable bags which worked great as high humidity and aircon.
