Not pet friendly. But pets are allowed. After several employees of the hotel warned me that “my dog was not allowed to leave the room during our stay”, I went to the reception to clarify. She confirmed that the employees were mistaken and that he could leave the room to relieve himself, but only if he was basically out of sight of any potential guests to come in contact with him. She suggested I use the service entrance. Our dog is part of our family, we don’t go through the trouble of traveling with him so we can abandon him in the hotel room, or sneak him through service entrances. Very nice (beautiful) hotel. Breakfast buffet is amazing. $30 suntan lotion in the store and the food is also very expensive. Staff could be more friendly. NOT PET FRIENDLY

Great staff and facilities. The pool water was somehow too cold, but the ocean and beach were lovely. On site food was more over-priced that I expected. But, if you don't think about that, it was a nice place to be. There are a few on-site or walking-distance activities, but with an extended stay, off-site activities will fill the time. We found some great options (in addition to golf and spa) that were fun for the teenaged kids.
