Great amenities and kind staff. A few language barriers with the cleaning staff and a few of the service areas. On property food and drinks were fantastic. Beautiful views from most locations. Recommend eating at the golf club once on the patio. The spa staff on point for all items. The workout facilities had all the latest equipment.

Beware as management is not transparent. We booked a 10-day stay at the St. Regis Cap Cana specifically for its calm, private beach where our children could swim and play. About a week before arrival, the hotel emailed that “certain areas” might experience increased sargassum. The reality was very different: the entire beach was effectively closed, swimming was impossible, the water was discolored, and large tractors were removing sargassum beside the pool. I don't fault the hotel for sargassum it cannot control nature. I do fault the lack of transparency and response. Had we been told the beach was unusable, we would not have traveled 11 hours for a beach vacation. Once there, nothing meaningful was offered to compensate for the loss of a major resort amenity. Even yoga/fitness classes remained ~$35. Their suggested solution was to drive 1.5 hours each way and pay ~$100/person/day to use another hotel's beach. I spent the next day vacuuming out our rental car of sand. The resort's isolated Cap Cana location compounded the problem. Several excursion companies told us we were too far away for pickup so we had to figure out our own transportation. For a 10-day family stay at a luxury resort, I expected management to ask: what can we do to make this right? Complimentary activities, credits, transportation or alternative beach access would have helped. Instead, the burden and expense of finding alternatives fell on us.

I’m currently on my flight back home from my trip and honestly was very sad to leave today. I had a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Cap Cana- stayed from 1/19-1/23/26. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff is truly wonderful - they are truly courteous and attentive. I know some reviews mentioned the lack of hot water in the shower but that issue seems to be fixed - there was plenty of hot water and the water pressure is great. I would say the only thing I think they would could improve on is more food options/restaurants. I especially loved Nina and Marola and was disappointed with dinner at Cassava. I had lunch by the pool everyday and they were great but again, more food options would be a good idea. I loved the St. Regis Bar - it’s more than drinks, they have such attention to detail and the drinks are so inventive and delicious. Overall it was a very relaxing trip and I would absolutely return.

I had high expectations for The St. Regis Cap Cana Resort, especially given how new the property is and the price point, which is very much in line with what you’d pay for a luxury hotel in New York. The hotel itself is stunning. The design is modern and elegant, everything feels brand new, and the setting in Cap Cana is beautiful. Rooms are spacious, well thought out, and exactly what you would expect from a St. Regis in terms of aesthetics. The beach area and pools are also very well done. Where the experience really falls short is the service — and unfortunately, at this price level, that’s what matters most. Service across the hotel felt inconsistent and, at times, surprisingly poor. Simple requests would take too long or require multiple follow-ups. There was a general lack of attention to detail and proactiveness that you would normally expect from a brand like St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. It often felt like the staff was either undertrained or not aligned with the level of service the hotel is trying to position itself at. Dining was another mixed experience. The food quality was decent, but service in restaurants was slow and sometimes disorganized, which made meals feel more frustrating than enjoyable.To be clear, this is not a bad hotel — far from it. The physical product is fantastic. But when you are charging top-tier luxury prices, guests expect top-tier service, and right now there’s a clear gap between the two.

As Marriott brand loyalists we were severely disappointed in our recent stay at St.Regis Cap Cana. As a family we travel to multiple luxury hotels under this brand such as Ritz Carlton, St.Regis and JW Marriott per year so we are very familiar with the brand. I became alarmed prior to arrival given the lack of response or delayed response from the concierge via email. Upon check it this became even more concerning…. No warm welcome, no welcome drink etc, Through our stay the lack of service only grew. Out first dinner on property we were told our table wasn’t ready when the restaurant was almost empty then when seated I alerted them of a gluten allergy and they asked what gluten was, then when I explained the server asked what wheat was. The breakfast food was always cold and lacking variety. Had we not prepaid it we would not have returned. We quickly shifted the remained of our lunch and dinner reservations off property at Eden Roc which was more up to par. We had a butler with our room type. This wasn’t like any butler we had had at other properties. We had to ask multiple times for simple requests like towels and ice. The customer service is just severely lacking at this resort. We have never encountered this before especially a St.Regis. It truly felt like we were a bother to the staff other than the St.Regis bar staff that went above and beyond. This is such a shame given it’s such a beautiful property. I feel like I let my family down with selecting this property.

Beautiful property and layout. Brand new hotel, Hardly any other guest. Wished we were placed in a better room - It was overlooking a partial parking lot for golfers, we did have ocean view & it was beautiful. Pools and staff excellent. Prices are outrageous at the restaurants & food was not good. $10 for a coconut water then fruit plate & tax & tip equals $67. I asked for papaya, I was charged for a full fruit plate. Breakfast is $50/person. No Uber eats allowed. Go to Jumbo, you can get fruits etc to take back. Dinner first night for 3 was $212. John, Aissette & Junior were amazing! Friendly, courteous and extremely helpful to us. Made our stay welcoming and worth it! Book excursions- it’s worth it. Unfortunately there’s a seaweed issue on beach but the clean it every morning.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in (and I've stayed at many hotels). Obviously this is a brand new hotel and you can tell. Everything is sparkling new. Everything has been so well thought out. The attention to detail is just insane. Check in was a little slow but we were offered beautiful drinks and a cool towel which was a nice touch. The staff were so kind and sweet with my 2 year old boy - playing with him and giving him attention. The room was stunning (we were upgraded). The views - breathtaking. Then our butler arrived. They offered us coffees throughout and waters. Butler service was good but can be improved and refined. A few times we waited longer than needed for our drinks. I'm sure with time, they will improve this service that they offer. Hotel facilities are divine. Dining is pricey but amazing. Be prepared to spend a lot of money to eat at this hotel (if you come to PC you know eating out is expensive anyway!). The spa treatment was very expensive but worth every penny. I would have used the spa for longer. Their relaxation area is amazing and the nibbles they provided were gorgeous. One of the best treatments I've ever had. For $195 I would expect nothing less! I would 100% return - if they don't raise their prices too much (which they most likely will and so they should!) Check out was also too slow. They are still working on their processes but apart from that I highly recommend.

The hotel is amazing and clean the staff are very helpful and polite. Beds were very comfortable. Although the breakfast was very repetitive very helpful accommodating any extra dishes that we would like. Although I can’t fault the hotel all the stuff because they were amazing one thing that I would recommend is if they would have some sort of entertainment because there were a days where it was raining and there was not much to do at the resort.
