I liked the friendly staff, the abundance of food and drinks was something we enjoyed. What we didn’t like is the lack of room housekeepers and the cleanliness of the bedsheets used. Also it was clear that there was a seaweed season and they didn’t seem to be prepared to have it clean that to some extent ruined the beauty of the sea view and the opportunity to swim.

Pretty good property. Staff were helpful, well-mannered and friendly. Food was okay; I’m quite a picky eater so this might contribute to my review on it, but I tried a few foods and they were just okay. The crepes were amazing though and so were the eggs and pasta they had. The room had good AC and the cleaners did a good job making sure the room was cleaned.

We had a great time at the resort the beach was a highlight. It was beautiful. The weather was amazing. The staff was really hopeful and attentive and very approachable and very nice people. We had a wonderful time staying at Occidental for five nights. The property was spotless and exuded a serene atmosphere. It’s an excellent destination for families, as they host a Mini Disco every night. My kids thoroughly enjoyed it. The buffet was satisfactory, though it could be improved with a wider variety of food options. The hotel’s beach area is breathtaking. Our housekeeper was exceptional; our room was always spotless and fresh upon our return.
