Staff were great, and Oceanview room was comfortable. Great bedding. I understand that the resort is brand new and not everything is completed, but food posioning? That's not an ideal at all (pretty sure it was muscle from Macao buffet). There is no air conditioning in any of the elevators - only 4 out of 8 are working. Stayed for 6 nights and power went out about 4 times. Three fire alarms at 3-4 am. No stairs u can take, only elevator, so that was exciting. We came with open minded, so we enjoyed it overall. A good vacation is what you make of it, so don't set your high expectations high and just enjoy with what they have to offer at this time. For sure it's not a 5 stars resort just yet.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but definitely not ready yet. I believe that it needs at least 6more months in order to be acceptable at the expected standards. Now, don’t get me wrong, if you get a good deal and go knowing that is not going to be the full experience as we did, you will have a great time. The service is very good, the drinks and food are excellent and the amenities that are ready are also very nice. The spa is great. Its has a lot of pools, plenty of chairs, and pool beads. The kids pools and water parks are great, same as kids club. No nights shows or special activities yet. Half of the restaurants are open. The French and Greek are the best. Room is very spacious and amenities are excellent but still some construction views and some construction dust surrounding them. The hotel have premium licor and food quality is high. I believe it will be the best hotel in Punta Cana in 2027.

I loved this hotel and will definitely return once the resort is fully open. The resort is beautiful, modern, and very convenient. One of my favorite things was that the restaurants and entertainment areas are air-conditioned, which makes a huge difference compared to many other resorts. I also loved that there are plenty of bars throughout the property, so you never have to wait long for a drink. The golf carts that shuttle guests to the beach were another great convenience. As for the downsides, we called room service twice to request coffee pod refills, but they never arrived. We also had an issue with our concierge, Ruben. He told us he had booked one of the restaurants for a birthday celebration, but when we arrived, we discovered that no reservation had been made. Thankfully, the restaurant manager stepped in, resolved the situation, and made up for the inconvenience, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it’s a beautiful resort with plenty of activities and amenities. Once all of the facilities are fully open, I think the experience will be even better. Despite the few issues we encountered, we had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back.

The property itself was beautiful, and our room was clean and comfortable. However, the level of service and treatment from several staff members significantly impacted our overall experience. As a father traveling with my wife and two daughters, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer service throughout our stay. On multiple occasions, staff were rude or dismissive when we requested assistance, often responding with attitude rather than support. One concerning incident occurred at the Wired Lounge, where a staff member told my family they had to leave because my 13-year-old daughter was wearing a cover-up. After it was clarified that there was no dress code violation, no apology was offered for the way she was approached or made to feel uncomfortable. The individual was not wearing a name tag, and when we raised the issue with Public Relations, he could no longer be located. At the FlowRider, my children were waiting in line in the sun when another guest, who had been sitting in the shade, approached them and said they could not go because it was his turn. When I later spoke with my children, the guest became confrontational. The staff member overseeing the area did not de-escalate the situation and instead sided with the guest. The concern was not only the person, but also the inappropriate manner in which my children were addressed and the staff’s handling of the situation. I hope management takes this feedback seriously.

Deluxe golf course view rooms were big with a hot tub on the balcony. Nice bathroom which needs some towel racks. There are only 2 pegs to hang towels. Restaurant food was spotty, some great, some average. Some had great service-Agra, Cantina, Momo, and others were very slow. Getting reservations for a large group was difficult. Language was a barrier throughout the resort. No one was sure about what was open and what wasn’t. Even at the customer relations desk. If you showed them something in the app, they had no clue it even existed. They made reservations for us at restaurants that were closed that day. It seemed like no one knew anything. Pools that were open were lovely the beach was a walk but nice-although waves were red flag. It was great to have chairs and towels available everywhere with no problem getting them.The water slides and wave rider were great. It was fabulous to have the arcade available at no charge. Otherwise the kids would have nothing to do in the evening. Pools close at 6:00. More entertainment for kids and teens is needed. I hope they never start charging for the arcade or wave rider. It makes a huge difference to have it available at no charge. There was so much construction that we weren’t prepared for. So many things weren’t open yet. We should have been made aware of this when we booked. You could hear hammering at 11pm. This resort will be fabulous when everything is open-unless it is too crowded and there are charges for amenities.

This will eventually become a very nice hotel. Given our attendance 10 days after its opening, about 60% of the hotel was completed. As a result, we weren’t able to enjoy everything that is listed. However the great thing is they offered us a complimentary return visit for the same number of people and number of days! The Pros: They have the best fitness center I’ve ever seen at a resort. It has a spin room, boxing room, polytechnics room, stair masters, treadmills all looking out at the beautiful golf course. There are plenty of seating areas throughout the resort. The bowling center (about 13-14 lanes) and sports bar was nice, especially during NBA finals. The best restaurant to book was the Mediterranean restaurant. Food was very nicely seasoned and great portion size. The hotel is very spacious and you never feel like it’s tons of people. The Cons: Ocean view is NOT what you think. DR has some type of restriction where this resort had to be so far away from the ocean. So it really is like viewing the ocean from a distance past a forest. We purchase ocean view but it was nothing but construction and forestry. The pool closed very early like at 6pm. The food wasn’t the best at the restaurants we booked (Italian, Mexican). They ran out of some of the items listed and it wasn’t seasoned well. The spa was ok. Our therapist did a lot of rubbing rather than massaging. For the price, it wasn’t worth it to me or my husband (a couples massage was almost $700).

The staff was super nice and welcoming. The hotel is super clean and everything is super convenient to find. The only issue is that they are still under construction in many different areas of the hotel and you see a lot of the workers around. Also many of the restaurants haven't opened yet and the ones opened are really hard to get reservations. Overall are really recommend it and can't wait to go back once they are done with everything. Food was great, entertainment was great. Drinks are great! Our favorite spot was Nativo cafe!!

This resort might be very nice in 2-3 years. Might. It is beautiful and luxurious but a long way from being 100% complete. Food is below average at best. Staff is just not even close to being able to provide the service one would expect from a luxury resort. The training is years off. This resort could be one of the finest in the DR. But it has a long way to go and I hope they succeed. I’d wait 2 years to give it a try

It’s not finished and there is a ton of construction going on. It’s not organized and employees do not understand a lot of questions. Resort credits are a joke. The pools are great and the water sides are great. Ice cream is also good. The arcade is good because all the games are free. I suspect that could change. It should be wonderful in the future but right now it’s not completely finished and a lot of stuff is not open or complete. We loved the pools that were open.

Our experience at Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana was very disappointing, especially since we were traveling to celebrate our anniversary. We paid for an ocean-view room, but upon arrival, we were assigned a room facing a construction zone. We requested a change immediately, but they were unwilling to resolve the issue. The next day, they kept us waiting all day with promises that they would move us—giving us a different time each time—until they finally did. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. In the new room, the pillows had a very unpleasant odor. We called to have them replaced, but no one ever came. We also waited practically a whole day just to have a simple bottle of water delivered. As for the food, it was one of the biggest disappointments. The restaurants were always packed, and getting a table was very difficult. We found the Greek restaurant to be very poor; the French restaurant also left much to be desired, and the sushi at the Japanese restaurant was of very low quality. For a hotel of this caliber and at the price we paid, we expected a much better dining experience. The staff, in general, were friendly and tried to take good care of us, but the hotel gives the impression that it isn't quite ready to receive guests yet. Many areas are still under construction, with constant noise from hammers, machinery, and workers during the day, which disrupts rest and the overall experience. Furthermore, neither the casino nor the nightclub is open.

En general, tuvimos una excelente experiencia. Aunque el hotel aún está completando algunos edificios de habitaciones y áreas, cuenta con muchísimas amenidades y entretenimiento para toda la familia, especialmente para niños: arcade, piscinas, simulador de surfing, un castillo con 2 pisos para el cuidado de los niños hasta 12 años con todos los juegos de arcade incluido hasta las 11:00 p. m. La bolera tiene un costo adicional x hora. Disfrutamos mucho la variedad de restaurantes a la carta para desayuno, almuerzo y cena, además de pastelerias y comida rápida y el excelente room service 24 horas. No dejen de visitar el restaurante Niki. Todos los bares tiene bebidas premium y las habitaciones están muy bien equipadas, limpias y cómodas, los espacios interiores cuentan con aire acondicionado y el personal es muy amable. Todavía no ofrecen shows nocturnos, pero hay música en vivo cerca del lobby y la discoteca abre a partir de los miércoles. Es un hotel con muchísimo potencial y ya ofrece todo lo necesario para disfrutar unas vacaciones muy completas en familia. Definitivamente volveríamos.

Moon Palace logra algo que muchos intentan y pocos consiguen: crear un ambiente donde cada huésped encuentra su propio tipo de diversión. La mezcla entre actividades emocionantes, espacios temáticos y experiencias inmersivas hace que el resort se sienta vivo, dinámico y diseñado para sorprender. Yo salí con la sensación de que cada día tenía algo nuevo que descubrir, y eso es exactamente lo que busco cuando viajo. Sin dudas para mí, la piscina de surd fue lo más impresionante y luego descubrí un juego de realidad virtual que me atrapó por varias horas.

Lo único que no me gustó del resort es que hay etiqueta para tu ir al buffet, no te aceptan que vayas a desayunar en dos piezas👙aunque lleves una pieza que te cubra la parte de abajo, tienes que ir cubierta totalmente arriba y abajo y eso no fue un buen momento para mi ni mi familia. Cuando llegas al lobby no te dan toda la información necesaria para tu estadia. Todo lo supe porque prefuntaba.

El hotel es muy grande y bonito, pero está en construcción y para mí fue muy desagradable porque hay muchos roídos y no se podía descansar, además al vender el hotel ofrece muchas cosas que todavía no está disponible,
