This resort is the epitome of relaxation. Bayahíbe has beautiful beaches and everyone is just living in the moment. True meaning of being on island time. The resort itself has more of a rustic theme and feel. It's beautiful in its own way, like a place not affected by time and modernization. Some may say it's outdated but I don't think that's the case, I think it's perfect the way it is. The staff are super friendly and attentive, always making sure you're okay and satisfied. The buffets are good and have a different theme for dinner every night. The restaurants on site are also very good but their menu is limited to only a few choices, if you want more variety stick to the buffet for dinner. The pool and beach were the main focus of our stay, we relaxed by each as much as we could. The spa was also amazing but it is a bit pricey, however worth every penny. I would definitely return here. It's perfect for unwinding and forgetting about the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We had to travel an hour from Punta Cana airport to arrive to this location, with that being said, if you're looking for more adventure in Dr, this might not be the place for you, but if you just want to relax and not worry about packing in a bunch of things to do, this place is perfect.

Firstly the food at the buffet is amazing, we actually canceled a few reservations just so we could eat here more. So many options, and all amazing. Special mention to Altagracia just by the entrance, the loveliest person at the resort. Apart from that, the resort is very beautiful and well designed. Staff are professional and friendly. Beach is beautiful. This is a truly fantastic resort, 5 stars in all regards.

Staff is incredible and the entertainment team was a blast! Tons of activities to do during the day and shows at night. Did water aerobics in ocean, dance lessons by pool too. The beautiful grounds were so nice to walk around and fun to see the peacock, ducks, and fish too. Would definitely return!
