We like many many things but first was the food. The Japanese restaurant is the best and the Italian and Greek were also excellent. The fresh fish at the Dominican restaurant was also excellent. We traveled with a 10, 14, and 33 year old and there was something for everyone.

Nice resort , clean room and common areas. Plenty staff, so really quickly available to assist. The food is better than average all inclusive resorts, we found the Navigator and Chinola dinner menu the best. The beach is practically not enjoyable because of the sargassum, despite their daily huge effort to clean it, I suspect without that, it would be much worse. The spa is phenomenal!! The water park is small but probably great for young kids; mine was a little too old ( 12 ) for that. Overall had a nice, relaxing trip.

Excellent staff reception upon arrival, room clean and well maintained. Staff very helpful. Site amenities and entertainment was exceptional. Great food and several restaurants onsite to choose from. Site was kid friendly and had several pools for patron use. Patrons with VIP status received notable upgrades and amenities. We were given a room with a swim up pool access as part of our VIP status. Given nightly turndown service. Facility and rooms were modern. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Staff to patron ratio was great. Would book stay again in the future.

We had a great stay at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana with our toddler. The resort is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the pools were a highlight. We especially appreciated how family-friendly and attentive the staff was; traveling with a little one can be challenging, but we felt very well cared for. Service was a standout. Special thanks to Oscar, Cristofer, Wander, and Johnny at the bars, Lemuel by the pool, and Ramon, an amazing waiter. Their friendliness and attentiveness made our stay even better. There are a few areas for improvement. We would have loved more Dominican culture through local music, food, traditions, and flavor, along with more afternoon and evening entertainment. Given the price, we also expected more luxury in the room, including premium pillows. The beach had significant sargassum during our visit, though we understand that is beyond the hotel’s control. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would consider returning. It is a great family resort with beautiful surroundings and exceptional staff; adding more local culture and entertainment would make it even better.

All was nice and as expected. We changed from excellence el carmen to hyatt ziva because of poor service there. We could sense the difference. Service at hyatt ziva was excellent.
