Second time at this resort. The spacious rooms, food options, staff friendliness, beach, posible water activities and all other amenities contribute to a fantastic vacation. We had the “privileged” pass with a more private beach area and bars with limited access. All in all great !!

We recently stayed at Catalonia Punta Cana for a family trip, and overall, it was a very positive experience. The resort is incredibly family-friendly, and the guest assistance team did a fantastic job making sure we had everything we needed. The staff across the board was wonderfully nice, and the rooms and grounds were kept exceptionally clean. When it came to dining, the food and drink options were just okay, mainly because there simply wasn't a variety of options to choose from. One big thing to note is the beach. Unfortunately, Bávaro beach was dirty during our stay. If you're coming here for pristine water, plan accordingly to visit other beaches in the area. We went to Playa Macao and it was absolutely beautiful and very worth it! Also, be prepared when dealing with some of the on-site sellers. They could be quite pushy and would actually get visibly offended if you decided not to buy from them or book their services, which got a bit uncomfortable. Despite the vendors and the beach situation, the fantastic guest service, spotless environment, and welcoming atmosphere made it a solid choice for our family getaway! Will definitely come back!

This resort offers a spacious, clean family room just steps from a stunning beach and the kids' pool, complemented by exceptional food and welcoming staff. While the property delivers a wonderful family vacation overall, it would benefit from shoreline seaweed management, expanded dining capacity, and updated toys and slides in the kids' club. Lastly, they need to fix the daily show/program schedule on their App/website as the information was not accurate and we missed a few shows because of it. Overall the stay was great!

🌴✨ Our First Family Stay in Punta Cana! 🇩🇴❤️ What an amazing experience! This was our first time staying in Punta Cana as a family, and we truly enjoyed every moment. 🥹❤️ From the beautiful views and relaxing atmosphere to the quality time spent together, it was a trip we’ll always remember. The resort was beautiful, the staff was welcoming, and there was something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Making memories together in such a beautiful place was definitely the highlight of our trip. 🌊☀️🌴 We’re leaving with full hearts, beautiful memories, and already thinking about our next visit! 🇩🇴❤️ Punta Cana, you were good to us! ✨

The room was updated and clean. The beach is another story, full of seaweed… I was unable to swim due to the dense seaweed accumulation and foul smell.

Property was dated and in process of repairs which left most of the rooms under construction. Despite the construction, the resort was impeccably clean. The staff was not always the friendliest. Def over worked and under paid. We purchased the privileged suite but didn't receive the perks advertised. No romantic dinner . In order to receive the dinner (already paid for), we were forced into sitting through a time share presentation. This ended with the salesperson literally yelling at us when we declined to purchase. The resort claims to have a private beach but is swarming with salesmen. This led to other disappointments. DO NOT purchase excursions through these guys! You will not get what you were promised.

Me and my family were here for 6 days and had a great time. We were in a privileged junior suite and was very comfortable. The grounds were very well kept, bartenders and wait staff were very nice and for the privilege status we had a concierge which was nice as well. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating to English speakers. My son went to the mini kids camp for 2 days and the staff were very sweet to him and he loved going and the activities. I definitely recommend this resort and will be back.

Great resort! Pros: great food, clean beaches and wonderful rooms, entertainment was great, housekeeping and staff in general were great, onsite stores were reasonably priced. Pools were well kept, night life was good. Good place for families we took our 17 year old and her friend and they had fun which is saying something. Cons: check in was an absolute nightmare, tried to rope us into a timeshare presentation, they do allow outside vendors onsite to sell stuff to you, they do have English speaking staff as advertised. The only real disappointing point which was specific to me was there are several keg taps onsite which it’s clear the lines haven’t been cleaned in a while which gave the beer a spoiled taste. All in all great place would visit again
