From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized and accessible. The Staff: The team here is highly professional, respectful, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to detail really stood out. Facilities & Beach: The beach is breathtaking, and both the beach and pool areas were pristine, orderly, and very easy to navigate. Activities: There was always something fun to do, with well-structured activities that kept things lively but relaxed. Everything was clean, accessible, and perfectly coordinated. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!

Everything about this resort was top notch. The premier package was such a great deal- the food, drinks, activities, and space was all worth it. We had friends over on the palace side (for families) and it was also amazing to have access to the amenities there. You never have to leave the resort unless you want to do an excursion, but they’ll pick you up in the lobby!!! Can’t say enough good things about this trip. And for sure get a shuttle/ride from the airport to resort and back and give yourself at least 3 hours!

The hotel itself was very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. However, the staff was very rude. Anytime you asked a question they were not helpful. However, the people who cleaned my room were very nice and always helpful. This hotel upcharged for everything. In order to get to the front of the hotel you had to pay extra money each time which wasn’t fair. The food was also horrible. I will not be returning here.

The staff was absolutely stellar, and the property was breathtaking! My room was not very clean when I first arrived with my pillows lacking pillow cases, and there was an odd smell which I believe may have just been their cleaning products. However, these things were quickly remedied and everyone was more than helpful! The buffet option was my favorite out of all of the dining options. Be sure to make your reservations for all the others, as they fill up fast!

It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. Only 20min from the airport. Overall the property is upkept and nice. Pools and beach are great. At check-in we were given rooms keys that didn’t work and then we were given keys to someone else’s room who we walked in on. Front desk was unapologetic and we got nothing in return. Food lacks in quality but that’s kind of normal in D.R.? Our flights got moved for departure and transportation service that was booked through Expedia canceled on us and didn’t pick us up. We had to get a taxi. I think I would stay here again for the right deal.

Adults Only Resort is beautiful, clean and relaxing. The staff was very polite and helpful when asking questions. The room was not the best part for me but it was clean but also had a little smell. King size bed was comfortable enough to get some rest. Balcony was cute with a great view. Restaurants - Santa Fe Steakhouse definitely need improvement with consistency. Our table ordered NY strip steak cooked the same way. We all got a different cut of steak. I did not eat. Staff was nice and service was quick. El Coral Seafood was an overall terrible experience. Staff was very slow but polite. Food not good at all. I ordered lobster bisque and lobster ravioli. Was not happy at all. Did not eat. Caribe Buffet was ok. Staff was very polite. There is a something to eat for everyone. La Brisa Buffet is my all time favorite. So many Dominican dishes to choose from all seasoned to perfection. Overall the best Buffet to eat at while you're there! Staff was also very polite and the restaurant was beautiful and very clean. Overall Barcelo Bavaro Beach was an amazing experience with great amenities. The beach and pool was beautiful and relaxing. Would definitely come back!

THE PROS THE STAFF, THE AMENITIES, THE RESORT, BEAUTIFUL, AS WELL AS THE BEACH. THE CONS THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. JUST DISGUSTING THAT I WAS SO EXCITED TO COME HOME AND COOK FOOD. We got there the first day. Ate at the barissa stay away from that restaurant on the resort the food was so bad that I wouldn’t feed that to my worst enemy. Then started eating at the caribbe everything is uncovered. Every single dish has either minced deli meat. The food is extremely low quality and even the bread tasted like it was there for months it was so stale. I cannot express you how bad the food was. To top it off there was roaches walking on the floor. Then on our last day, we decided to pay to go to Kyoto the sushi house on the other resort wow I cannot tell you how awful that was, the rice was so extremely mushy and the calamari was full of tendons and it was pulley and so chewy I can’t explain how bad it was. I was so grossed out. Come on Dominican this is embarrassing. How is this resort serving rice like this. The food was so low quality!!!!! Been to Jamaica Negril or Montego so many times. Everything is covered. Everything is sanitary at so many resorts there. Their rice is on point. They have so many amazing foods with flavour and sauces that they cook in front of you. Dominican the food was horrific, low quality. It’s unfortunate because a lot of people around us were complaining at these restaurants. How bad the food was.
