I first stayed here 20 years ago when this hotel was Le Meridien. I was in Pune with my daughters whilst my husband was out of town so decided to have a trip down memory lane with them. The hotel is as lovely and grand as ever, the rooms are comfortable with the Indian service you expect from a 5 star. Food on room service, main restaurant and the Chinese restaurant was delicious. Helpful concierge and front of house staff if you need assistance with Uber etc. Lobby area is just gorgeous to sit in and the pool terrace perfect to escape the heat. Well equipped gym and recreation centre which the kids loved (includes air hockey, table tennis etc).

Staff was excellent. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The proximity to the railway station is a major disadvantage as there is constant train horns throughout the night doesn’t allow much rest or sleep.
