“Great little, old quirky cottage in a pleasant village! Nice and warm, cosy cottage and a well stocked kitchen with tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc to hand. All facilities including dish washer and washing machine if you need it. Host was responsive and helpful too. “The house was spacious and cosy. Plenty of outdoor space for the children to play. Plenty of games to play, lots of butterflies and bees and swings in the trees. Shame the ponds were dried up because of the heat but the areas are lovely. An amazing holiday for our family. Thank you.”

“Rooms are clean but dated, floors throughout are creaky. The shower took 10mins to get hot, such waste of water. I ordered starter and main course they came out together, the starter was nice and fresh, I think the main course was kept warm and not cooked fresh as I sent it back. Breakfast was good and cooked fresh so it takes time to arrive.”

“Lovely place to stay. Excellent breakfast. Slight problem with, I presume memory foam mattress which is far hotter than we are used to. We also invited friends over for a meal in the bistro. Very disappointing, very slow to get the meals (over 30 minutes?). I think my burger had been sitting around on a hot plate for ages as the bun was totally dried out and hard, my husband said the same of his.
