A gem of a place to stay.

A gem of a place to stay and excellent value for money. Owners and staff are lovely - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is very good and the attached bar/restaurant is well stocked and the food is excellent. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We loved every second of our stay. The breakfast was fantastic and all the staff are willing to help with any needs. The restaurant was amazing for dinner and we loved every meal. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the local area was quiet and safe.

Lovely local pub with rooms.

Excellent staff, great rooms, very clean and tidy. Locals were very nice too. Breakfast was really good and so nice to get the toast with the breakfast so its still hot! Good parking.

4 nights of comfort and fabulous food. Couldn't make breakfast but was given a suitable packed breakfast that just hit the spot. Evening meals of the home cooked range were fabulous.

A lovely stay. A nice pub, with plenty of outside seating, and nice atmosphere inside. Good selection of drinks. A separate dining area made the evening meal feel more like eating in a restaurant Vs a pub. The food and service was very good. Dishes or the day and the specials added to an already sufficient menu. Breakfast was also very tasty. We stayed in room #1. It was much larger than expected, and with a sofa. It was clean and comfortable. There is good sized car park at the rear of the property.

A gem of a pub, with friendly staff. Room was comfortable and clean the breakfast was of a good quality. The views over the Downs are gorgeous. My husband enjoyed the choice of ales. Very good value for money, would visit again
