Hotel ist an einer ruhigen Lage, jedoch ist man zu Fuss schnell im Zentrum. Die Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit und geben Tips über Puerto Viejo. Das Zimmer war sehr Sauber und hatte eine kleine Küche mit allen notwendigen Utensilien zum kochen.

His place is not suitable for Guests

If you don't mind a big pile of sand just out your front door and a swimming pool hole work in progress right out your back door plus dust and construction noise all day long. I did mind this and could only handle one night there because they would not allow me to cancel the first night. This property as not suitable for guests until the construction project is completed!

Good value, nice owners!

Nice couple Hector and Mary run the place. Reasonable rates, close to town but quiet, no major issues. Hot water heater didn’t work in shower but it’s hot here so no big deal. Great bakery nearby, overall good value place to stay

Hotel as Advertised!

The Hotel Aban is exactly as advertised. Basic rooms at a fair price. Fran and his friend Mar made my stay very welcoming. The room was large with plenty of storage space, hot shower, refrigerator, coffee maker, great Wi-Fi and a safe in the room. I highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers.
