The location of the Lindo Mar was very nice. It was a 5 minute cab ride to the romantic zone, costing less then 100 pesos. The room was large and very clean. A/C worked great. The kitchen is stocked with the basic equipment to make a nice meal. Beautiful view and good food. The beach is not swimmable due to the large rocks and choppy waters. Service in the restaurant was okay. Most staff was friendly. Pool is small and mostly shaded. Overall I enjoyed my stay here.

This place was very nice and half the price of the resort where my friends stayed. My friends did get all inclusive food but i went as a groomsman in my friends wedding and preferred to save some money on the trip. The staff were helpful and held onto the keys to our rentsl car for us. Great place, amazing view. Loved it

This hotel is very quaint and lovely. It has a nice pool and outdoor area. The staff was wonderful. Keep in mind that you can’t walk to town or restaurants from here. The onsite restaurant is good with a great view. Taxis and Ubers are easily available.

We came to this resort because it is on the beach. Unfortunately, the beach policies were ridiculous and seriously diminished our ability to enjoy our stay. Firstly we were only allowed one towel each. Other resorts offer 2 towels at minimum and more if requested. Secondly, the beach chairs were removed and locked up at 5.00pm precisely. And the towel bar was closed at 5.00pm or earlier. Sunset was at 6.30pm. So if we wanted to go to the beach at 5.15pm to watch the spectacular sunsets, no chairs or towels were available. Thirdly, the area where the resort's beach chairs could be set up ended at the restaurant steps. This miniscule area which could accommodate 6 umbrellas was usually completely full by 10.00am. Lindo Mar was a great place to stay. The room was large clean and tastefully decorated. The service by every single staff member was superior. Lindo Mar is an exceptionally safe place to stay. The pool and hot tub were excellent and the temperature of both was perfect. Lindo Mar also has a private like beach with lounge chairs and chairs available at no extra charge and there was also drink service. The beach is beautiful and interesting. There is a gym and massage room and massages can also be done in the room. There is everything you need in the room to cook for yourself if you want. If I have one criticism it would be that the food in the La Playita restaurant is good but not great and also somewhat limited but again, the food was fresh, the drinks delicious and the service excellent. I highly recommend Lindo Mar Resort. It was affordable, lovely and fun and we will be back again.
