We had a great stay at Delta Marriott Puerto Vallarta. The hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the pools, beautiful views, and convenient location. The rooms were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and family-friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Understaffed. Beach club was great. Coffee shop staff were sweet. Buffet will have lines. And chefs don’t care about food being replenished. Please see photos attached at 9:30pm for the Huichol Buffet after being turned away for being late 15 minutes for a teppanyaki reservation. So dissatisfied and felt it was a waste of thousands of dollars for a 5 night stay. Bartenders were amazing. Pools were understaffed and quite unkempt.

This was my second time in Delta. The property is really beautiful and peaceful and amenities are great. The staff were super nice and friendly like Lulu, Jorge and Karen. Pools are great and it’s nice to have a choice between beach and the pools. We definitely come back for the third time!

Pool side sitting had to be done first thing in the morning. Lots of walking, but enjoyable if you're able to. The pools were always clean and well maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful (Diego, Marco, Guadalupe, Luis, Julio, Carlos, Gustavo, Saul, Rosita), they will go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The staff deserves a raise!!

It has plenty of pools for little kids to enjoy other than that the beach is not close by it takes about 10 minutes in car to reach. No amenities, under staff, uphill walks, very limited cuisine, only 2 restaurants that served the same meals for breakfast and dinner, minimal transportation to the beach so even though they provide transportation you might not have the opportunity to make it to the beach because they have limited availability. They have a pantry for snacks but it was empty multiple times.

The resort was definitely not clean, there was iguana poop everywhere, all over walkways, in the pools and lazy river. Lazy river was always full of debris like sticks and leaves. Staff there for the most part was good but there were a couple that definitely didn’t care to try help with much at all. The golf carts to take you around are a awesome idea considering it’s built into the side of a mountain but the golf carts where not easy to get ahold of or you would find them all at the top of the resort all hanging out chatting. There was not much for food choices there, the pool bar and grill had easily the best food at the resort. Trying to get to and from the airport was also a task as they didn’t really wanna help at the front desk unless you paid a heavy price for the ride. Overall I definitely wouldn’t choose this resort to stay at again as it was very dirty and the food was not the best.

The hotel is beyond incredible , located in a hill in the middle of the jungle with so many beautiful pools, an amazing lazy river and a very fun water slide where my kids spent hours on end. The staff is amazing. They always had a big smile on their face and always going above and beyond to help. Our pictures came out incredible, looking like a resort out of a movie. Our setbacks were the food - not that many restaurants where most of them were offering the same thing. It seems like they had good intentions about food but poorly executed. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style food every day, where everything was cold-warm at the most and bland. Nothing in either of the restaurants was great, they were just okay at most, except the Teppanyaki style one. This one was really good but without AC - brutal! The second thing was that the walls are extremely thin and you could hear everything - literally. Something we never had experienced before. At times you would think that they were inside the room with you. Our neighbor sneezed, we said bless you just joking and she answered thank you as if we were in the same room. But the worse thing was that our neighbors had a dog (didn’t know it was pet friendly) so the dog barked all the time. Was not planning on going on a relaxing vacation to be hearing a dog all the time - very annoying. It would be best if they had either a floor solely for guests with pets or even a whole section for them. Would go back for the scenery, not the food

Rooms were pretty clean. Walls in tower 6 are extremely thin we had to switch rooms after our first night, could have been bad neighbours but the staff were fantastic about it. Tower 5 was LOVELY. The Staff were all extremely friendly. Food was all really good. Pantry was maybe lacking a bit of variety they had some danishes, ice cream, cereal, coffee, jello and sandwiches. Maybe some peanuts or small bags of potato chips would go a long way if you just want a little snack. Pools were all clean and the staff were all prompt to clean them. Pros: Food was good Rooms were clean and updated Gorgeous scenery Drinks were great Beach club was nice Staff fabulous Cons: Getting there from PV airport can be pricy I recommend walking away from airport and taking an uber. Long walk from lobby to back towers all up hill Outside of pools not a lot of good entertainment nearby for adults Overall was a great experience

This hotel was a good experience! I would recommend if you want to relax and swim. There are plenty of pools to choose from, especially for little kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. One thing that was noticeable was how short staffed the hotel was and how staff was trying their hardest to keep guests happy. Amenity wise compared to other inclusive hotels there is no staff arranging games, or night shows or any kind of activity. The hotel is not recommended if you have a hard time moving around. They try to provide transportation (kind of like golf carts) but due to short staff it can take long waits. Overall I recommend the hotel because the staff is amazing and they make the experience a good one. The Hotel is good for relaxing! Another thing, house keeping wasn’t the best. Maybe it was due to low staff but when we needed new towels and other house keeping materials they would take at least a day or two to be replaced. Other than that the beds were always made and the fridge was always restock. Shot out to Musio (mesero), Esmeralda (cosina), Eric, Omar (carritos) and Enrique the bartender etc, etc.

Absolutely loved the resort. The staff was exceptional. So kind and friendly and we were constantly offered rides in the golf cart while we were in the lobby and walking around the resort. Our room was so clean and it was cleaned daily always with new towels and a restock of the drinks in our fridge, and the shampoo and body wash smelt SO GOOD, I’m trying to find it for my house lol. The food options were pretty good, I would say the Mexican buffet for breakfast and dinner, especially dinner, was far superior than the Italian buffet and the international breakfast. Now the teppanyaki dinner was by far the best. I recommend getting 2 reservations for dinner because I regret not doing it twice. Everything was so good, and the chef put on a show for sure!! All of the lunch options were great as well, especially the shrimp tacos from the bar in tower 6, I forget the name. The coffee bar, organic and co was also delicious and had great non dairy milk options! The private beach club was beautiful as well, and super good food! The ice cream at the 24 hour pantry was awesome too, just remember the ice cream service ends at 9 pm! There was also tons of cute cats and other wild life around the property, lots of iguanas! They did leave poop on the walk ways at times so just look out for that but it never smelt while we were walking around! It was cleaned pretty frequently too from what I could tell. All in all, I loved this resort and hope to be back one day!!

Resort location is stunning. You can tell it’s fairly new with the modern rooms and pool conditions. Some elements this resort lacks is evening entertainment (no theatre), no swim up bar, no self serve pop/juice machines, NO LUNCH BUFFET, breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, minimal options at breakfast and dinner buffets. Bar staff discouraged guests going up and ordering drinks ourselves. I was told to find my waiter and have him get the drinks on my behalf. I just needed a glass of water! Waiters only came to our pool chair once every 2 hours (yes we were tipping). Foods and sauces need to be labeled properly. We have a tree nut allergy in our group. No staff could give us enough reassurance about contamination. She survived off cantaloupe and honey dew for a week. Rooms were very clean and all staff we encountered in the hallways were extremely friendly. Beach shuttle was convenient and the restaurant down there was probably the best meal we had all week. I asked for a bit of a later check out due to not getting picked up for the airport until 3pm. We were told $20USD per person, per hour, would be charged. I’ve never experienced such a fee at other resorts. We were a group of 7 and didn’t see the value in this charge. We waited in the lobby for our ride. We won’t be recommending or returning to this resort. Definitely didn’t feel like we got our moneys worth.

We recently stayed at Delta Hotels by Marriott Puerto Vallarta for three days. Overall, the property is absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff we interacted with were all kind, friendly, and professional, so I don’t think the issue was with the employees themselves. What stood out the most was that the hotel seemed understaffed. Our room was only cleaned once during our entire three-day stay, which was disappointing. Service also felt inconsistent, and it often took longer than expected to get assistance. The transportation system around the resort was a bit unusual. Guests rely on golf carts to get around the property, which is understandable because of the layout, but there were times we had to wait quite a while for one to arrive. It made getting from one area of the hotel to another less convenient than expected. The hotel itself is stunning and has a lot of potential, but improving staffing levels and overall service would make a big difference in the guest experience. I would consider staying again because the property is so beautiful, but I hope they address these service issues.

Great hotel and choice for an all inclusive. Great food, clean, great service and everyone was very welcoming. Would definitely come back. The only downside is the beach access, we had to take a 10 min ride every time we wanted to go and 10 min back. But overall very comforting, relaxing, and enjoyable.

This place is amazing the staff goes above and beyond and everyone is so polite including all the other travelers!!! I would definitely come back it is worth every penny!!! The food is awesome and drinks are delicious 😋 The natural pool is my favorite!! This is a win win!! 💖
