This place is amazing! Huge property with a variety of plants, fruits, gardens and cute animals. The villas are very clean and charming, equipped with AC and a small kitchen. The breakfast is lovely and the restaurant offers delicious Dominican food. We were greeted warmly by the staff. A quiet oasis in nature! Would definitely recommend.

I could not have stayed at a better place. It is a farm with over 200 hundred acres. Walking through it is like being in paradise. It has plenty of fruit trees, beautiful flowers and animals.

Beautiful Lodge on a Farm

Was a peaceful experience, memory foam beds, extremely polite and welcoming staff, many animals to see. Even gained assistance from Management when my rental had gotten a flat tired, definitely recommend.

Just like the pictures, very clean and nicely decorated, very cozy, nice pool, yummy breakfast. We walked around the hacienda and it was beautiful with lots of different animals and fruit trees, seems well kept and no mosquitos was a plus! Would definitely go back next time I’m in the area!

My wife and I had a great stay at Hacienda La Huerta. Beautiful country side property, with pool, hiking trails and wildlife watching. Villa was modern, comfortable and has a kitchenette for cooking if needed. Ariel and staff gave great service and helpful to anything you need. 15 minute drive from beautiful beaches close to puerto plata attractions.

This property is very peaceful, relaxing and resting area. Location is about 20 minutes from the center of the Puerto Plata's City, so you need to be able to drive or hire a driver to move to the city or someplace else; it is a little an isolated.

This place is a hidden gem, even more beautiful then the pictures. The host are so hospitable, there wasn’t any guest on site when we visited so we had the entire grounds to ourselves and loved it. Its a gated place and you get the gate key for your stay so it is a safe place to stay as well. And their breakfast is made fresh for whatever time you chose, you eat outside in their beautiful dining area, the food was delicious. Their rates are cheap but in my opinion underpriced as this place was beautiful. The cabin is cute and fully stocked. All kinds of animals to see and the flowers are so pretty. There is a scenic walkway that is a lovely walk with all kinds of flowers and different fruit trees and bushes that are labeled, i just can’t say enough about my stay there. Wish i lived closer so i could visit often, but if i am ever back in the DR i will definitely be staying there again! I don’t usually leave reviews unless i had a horrible experience and want to warn others but i feel this place deserves to be bragged on. Highly recommend!

I was thouroughly inpressed with the combination of comfort, cleanliness, aesthetics, service, and atmosphere at Hacienda La Huerta. It may be a bit of a drive to the center of town, but it is all worth it! If you want a relaxing, romantic, and scenic stay, this is the place to be! I am definitely coming back!
