Another very enjoyable visit!

Out 5th stay at the Vallemar and standards remain consistently high. An excellent frontline hotel with a wonderful roof terrace and pool. The hotel restaurant overlooks the Lago Martínez and provides a large range of buffet style dishes with produce sourced from its own organic farm. The restaurant staff are professional and attentive. Another very enjoyable visit!

Very clean and modern room. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of cold and hot food. We took the half-board. Would not recommend this. The evening buffet was simply sub-par, to be diplomatic. Just stick to the room and breakfast, then it‘s a great place to stay.

The location of the hotel is perfect. On the walkway nearby the ocean, close to shops, bars and restaurants. They also have a parking for 10 euro/day. Compared to public parking which cost 35 euro/day. g

Our room was good and bed was comfortable. Only stayed for one night, so we didn't have much time to enjoy rooftop pool etc. However there were few issues. We had Deluxe room and there wasn't amenities as marked. Reception tried to charge extra for safetybox, no cava service, slippers, bathrobe or newspapers. These all was mentioned in room description on hotels website. Minibar was sad with lack of choices. Breakfast service super slow with coffee. Definitely not worth the 223 euros per night!

The hotel is fabulously located and the staff are very good. The breakfast is good andthe swimming pool on the roof is very nice. What perhaps lets the hotel down is the level of cleanliness.

Nous avons passé de très belles vacances entre amis à Puerto de la Cruz et plus particulièrement à l’hôtel Vallemar. Il s’agit d’un hôtel situé au cœur de la ville, avec une vue sur l’océan magnifique. Le service est irréprochable. Les buffets proposés sont impressionnants et surtout délicieux. De même, très belle piscine avec un bar juste à côté. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter si l’occasion se présente.

Quelques jours sur la mer

Nous n'étions passé qu'une journée à Puerto de la cruz. L'hotel Vallemar donne sur le paseo qui n'est pas trop bruyant en étage élevé. La piscine est superbe, bien mieux que ne le laisse à penser les photos. Très bon petit déjeuner, dîner en dessous des compliments parfois vus dans les avis. Pensez à réserver une place de parking...et ne dépassez pas 4,60 m en longueur pour la voiture. Le bas de la porte de notre salle de bain frottait sur le sol empêchant une ouverture complète...et l'écran de télévision n'était pas à l'horizontale... dommage...mais la vue est jolie et l'hôtel est un hôtel et pas un immeuble de 20 étages comme il y en a beaucoup à PDLC.

I loved the ocean front view from my balcony.One staff nember Candlearea Toledo stood out as she was always helpful.I did feel that hotel policy of paying daily for use of the room safe and use of mini fridge was chintzy for this four star hotel.

The staff members went above the call of duty to be helpful. The men and women at reception were incredible. Special thanks to Candelaria Toledo. I also want to say a special thanks to the housekeeping ladies, and the wait staff in the bar and restaurant. The rooftop pool area is beautiful with fantastic views.
