What stands out most about the hotel: the location makes it easy to walk to restaurants and shops or to grab a water taxi at the pier, the breakfast is delicious, our room was spacious and immaculate, the beds were super comfortable, the pool is wonderful to relax by and watch turtles, sharks and sea lions swim by. We loved our time there.

The hotel was amazing. The rooms are super clean, the staff were beyond helpful, and the breakfast was second to none. It was also a very quiet hotel right off the main street. It was about a 100-meter walk from the docks where you arrive on the island. The hotel was extremely reasonably priced. Additionally, the laundry service's turnaround time was excellent! Thanks!

This place is amazing!!! The staff was great and the amenities are top! The hot tub is open all day! Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel. We will definitely recommend it to friends. We stayed at the dock house and it was unbelievable, just make sure the propane tank for the hot tub is connected when you are checking in so when you are ready to use it, you can get it going no problem … otherwise dock house is the best

Amazing Hotel!

I had an amazing stay at Barranco Hotel! I stayed at the Dock House and the service was excellent from start to finish. The location couldn't be better just a short walk to the malecon and all the main attractions. The continental breakfast was fresh and delicious, a perfect way to start the day. I will definitely be coming back and staying here again. Highly recommended!

Amazing location overlooking the bay. We saw sea turtles, reef sharks, sea lions and lots of fish just sitting at the bar sipping cocktails. Breakfast is at the sister hotel across the road. The food served is from 2pm-10pm only (and also comes from across the street) and is cash only but very delicious (we had the meat and fish skewers). Only stayed one night before our cruise but would definitely stay there again if we were to return (and for longer than one night only).

This was our family's second trip to the Galapagos and we found the new Hotel Barranco online and took a chance as it didn't have many reviews. We had a wonderful stay! Everything is brand new, clean, and beautifully decorated! The location is super convenient to the dock for the ferries and excursions. Jobeth was super helpful setting up our trips and recommending restaurants. One of the highlights of the property is the pool overlooking the lagoon with the resident seals relaxing by the water. Was great to cool off with a cocktail by the bar after our daily adventures. Totally recommend this hotel for your family's stay in the Galapagos!! Thanks to all the staff for a great stay!

El Barranco Galapagos is a fantastic hotel! Breakfasts were delicious the staff friendly and accommodating, the location excellent for dining shopping and access to tours from the wharf. Our maid even did our laundry! We stayed in the family cabin which included a kitchen 4 bedrooms a hot tub and its own patio. It was spotless! We hated to leave!

We booked for a 2 bed, 2 adult and a child, and got 3 double beds in a huge room on the top floor, room 312. The pool is heated and nice, and the adjacent hot tub is super nice! The staff are super accommodating! When all my 7yo wanted was instant noodles for dinner, they took the package from us and made it for her. Breakfast has a nice spread, and they will cook eggs, waffles or pancakes upon request. Will accommodate allergies. Only 1/2 block away from the main pier. Central to shops and restaurants. Front desk hosts Brenda and Kim are super nice! Actually everyone in that hotel are nice. Zero complaints, only our appreciation for a great stay.

El hotel maravilloso, Pero dejaron el piso del baño aún mojado al limpiar, me resbalé y me golpee. No reclamé Pero lo hizo mi hermana desde Quito pues ella realizó la reserva y la respuesta de la recepcionista fue: que raro, nuestro personal siempre deja seco No me inventé la caída, y mínimo hubiese esperado una disculpa y que el personal no finja que nada paso. Por lo demás el hotel y comida deliciosa
