After booking with hotels.com, upon my arrival I was given a room in this shack of a place in a terrible area that I would not bring my family - the room smelled like feces and was nothing like the pictures. The hotel maid is the one that gave me a key - no one is there that speaks English and there is no front desk. 15 minutes later a man came and told me that hotels.com didn’t provide them with my booking information and that I needed to leave and find another hotel on NEW YEARS EVE! I found another hotel and spent 5 hours on the phone and via Facebook trying to contact hotels.com to not charge me as the hotel had double booked me.
It took Hotels.com from 12/31 to 1/5 to get ahold of anyone at the hotel to tell me that I was going to be charged for a 5 day stay that I wasn’t allowed to stay at because the hotel double booked the room!
RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL and hotels.com!
