“We stayed here two years previous. The location of the property and the hotel itself are excellent. We also found the food excellent (better than last time). However, the service was poor - they felt understaffed and even non busy mealtimes seemed a strain on resources. Not very efficient… The hotel could be excellent, but just felt lacking on this occasion.”

The staff was friendly and polite and made conversation with you, the bar staff was just the same, even the manager made polite conversation about the history of the pub. The bar food l👀k’d amazing.
