Ok so if you want a modern unfriendly hotel do not choose here but if you want a beautiful traditional chateau with themed rooms, admittedly some oddities as all old chateaus have but beautiful, and lovely staff with an amazing breakfast this is amazing as is Provins generally. Be advised you do need passable French to make things easier but if you are off to France guys it’s the least you can do!!

Stayed for a single night while returning from the French Alps to the UK. On arrival we had to telephone to facilitate access, but once in we were very pleasantly surprised by the property. It is unattended and so we were given the keys and came and went as we pleased. It has a very arty feel to the building and it is furnished with many interesting objects which made for many conversations. It is well situated for Provins Medieval Town and also the lower town with several restaurants nearby. We parked our car o the road immediately outside the property which was free. Breakfast was served at the time of asking in the morning. It's not your usual hotel, but made for a very pleasant stay and we will certainly consider coming back for a future visit.

Je voyageais avec ma fille et mes deux petits enfants. Nous avons été trÚs bien accueillis. La responsable était facilement joignable et à l'écoute. La suite était grande et confortable. Nous avons pu profiter du petit déjeuner dans l'agréable salon. Petit plus : étant en train, nous avons pu laisser nos bagages dans le bureau jusqu'à notre départ. Seul regret : nous n'avons pas profité du cadre extérieur et du trÚs beau jardin pour cause de pluie... Merci pour tout.

Gites Ă  la fois charmant et original avec beaucoup de dĂ©coration qui peuvent surprendre et amuser (n'hĂ©sitez pas Ă  regarder le plafond 😉). Le gĂźte est agrĂ©able grand et la chambre confortable. Comme souvent il n'y a pas de volets et donc il est difficile de faire le noir dans la chambre, dommage. Les chambres ont des noms et un certain univers, la nĂŽtre Ă©tait le Chat BottĂ©, c'est dommage qu'on ait pas retrouvĂ© un lien avec ce nom (pas de tableau ou dĂ©coration qui fasse rĂ©fĂ©rence).

La maison d'hĂŽtes est dĂ©corĂ©e de façon originale, il faut aimer les dĂ©corations chargĂ©e et les animaux empaillĂ©s. Les chambres sont mal insonorisĂ©es mais rien d'insupportable. Le personnel est trĂšs agrĂ©able et fait son possible pour vous satisfaire. Quelques points meriteraient d'etre corrigĂ©s pour que le sĂ©jour soit encore plus agrĂ©able : Mettre Ă  jour la description de la chambre affichĂ©e dans la chambre (la douche est classique et ne comprends ni radio, ni chromatherapie,ni sauna....) certains objets sont en trĂšs mauvais Ă©tat et devraient ĂȘtre retirĂ©s ou remplacĂ©s (petit canapĂ© de la salle de bain dont le tissu est dĂ©chirĂ© et tachĂ©) dans la chambre Ă  lumiĂšre noire les peintures sont abĂźmĂ©es et il y avait un tube au sol ainsi qu'une lumiĂšre noire qui ne fonctionnait pas, il manque de la vraie lumiĂšre pour lire le soir ou autre, pour les produits de toilette ce serait utile d'indiquer de quel type de produit il s'agit car le flacon n'a aucune indication (composition en cas d'allergie ?) Est-ce du savon, du shampoing, du dĂ©maquillant ? Un investissement de quelques euros dans des flacons en bon Ă©tat serait Ă©galement utile. Nous n'avons pas testĂ© le restaurant malgrĂ© l'insistance du propriĂ©taire (pas trĂšs agrĂ©able comme procĂ©dĂ©) Le petit dĂ©jeuner est correct (viennoiseries, pain, beure, confiture, jus de fruits, cafĂ© ou thĂ© ou chocolat, fromage blanc avec mĂŒesli ) il serait agrĂ©able de pouvoir se resservir de cafĂ© soi mĂȘme et de savoir quel est le parfum des confitures.

Le petit-dĂ©jeuner est un peu (trop?) simple en ce qui me concerne (1 croissant, 1 pain au chocolat, pain, beurre, confiture, jus d’orange et boisson chaude).
