The location is perfect for exploring on foot or by bike. The atmosphere is truly unique and incredibly relaxing. Peace and quiet are part of the experience and every little detail has been thoughtfully designed to make your stay enjoyable. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms were clean, staff was extremely helpful. Rooms are on the smaller side, we would have liked a counter or something for our suitcase. Also you can hear every step people take on the stairs if you’re staying in room 6.

Lovely place to stay. We had a first floor room with balcony. Great views. Staff absolutely lovely. Breakfast each morning. Fire pit lit each evening. Free bikes to borrow were a nice touch. Would love to return!

The front desk staff except for on 1 person that checked us out- leaving yesterday were super disinterested. I tripped 3 times on a rock inside the office area-maybe as a prop for door. No one said anything or maybe even moved the rock? The pool was cloudy and the liner needs to be replaced. We wanted to swim but didn't because of this. The view and balcony - beautiful, bed comfortable. Steamer didn't work. Disappointed.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. The property has a very beach vibe and gorgeous views. My one cautionary note is that the platform beds are very hard for older people to get in and out of. Had we known we would have asked if they had more accessible accommodations

Beautiful lodging with great views of the dunes. Close to town but just far enough off the beaten path to give it a more relaxed vibe. The rooms are beautifully appointed and tastefully designed. Some feedback for improvement: There are no coffee makers in the rooms and this was challenging for those of us that rise before the hotel's coffee was ready in the lobby (7:30 am ish, pretty late in the morning by our standards). The general quality of the coffee that was served (watery and flavorless) could also be improved. The bikes should have a better parking arrangement; they are too crowded together and it is frustrating to maneuver in the cramped space to unlock the bikes. The pool heater was not working when we visited so we were disappointed not to be able to swim. Overall, despite these drawbacks, we definitely would stay again. The staff are very helpful (especially the hotel manager Erica, who is amazing!) and the place is generally wonderful.

We had a really lovely time at this property: it was far enough off the main drag to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to walk. Friendly staff and all around cute property. Beautiful views and really excellent natural lighting. Would absolutely book again.

This inn was perfect! The view of the moors was lovely, and the hotel was quaint and stylish. We were able to walk to dinner and also really enjoyed the fire pits with s’mores. Charming!

Make your trip even more magical at awol!

Ptown is a magical place and there is no where more special to stay than awol. The staff are lovely, the rooms are comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. I highly encourage couples - LGBTQ especially - to stay here!

Awol is the best place we’ve stayed at in PTown! The amenities, the view, the hospitality were all amazing. It’s the perfect place for couples or a getaway with friends.
