The décor was very chic and stylish, and the property was exceptionally quiet at night. The room was spotless and well maintained. I especially loved the bed—it was very comfortable, and I slept extremely well. I gave this hotel 4 stars because the front desk experience could be improved. The woman who checked us in was not particularly friendly or welcoming, which left a less-than-positive first impression.

We had last minute issues with our original reservation, so switched to the Loom unexpectedly. The staff were amazing in helping ensure we got into our room and ready for our evening plans in time. The restaurant/bar had great drinks and service and a lovely patio. The room was clean and hospitality helped get us extra towels daily. The location was great for getting to the highway (we did things in both Providence and Newport) and airport. We loved all the seeing related decor too. Also walking distance to multiple restaurants and Apagog Brewery.

We learned about it from talking to the bartender and we were glad he knew some of the history. If you are looking for a piece of paper, a pen, TV guide, area restaurant information available in the room you won't find any. The staff were pleasant and accommodating..
