A very unique experience in an old house. Room was clean, staff friendly, and the breakfasts were excellent. The common room and breakfast allowed us to interact with other guests. Close enough to walk to downtown.

This property was full of charm with wide plank wood floors and comfy bedding. The breakfast was delicious and staff was kind and welcoming. Plenty of parking, which is needed, as you’re up by the highway.

Nice change of pace

Beautiful bed and breakfast. A wonderful change from hotel living. Careful, narrow stairs and no elevator, but if you are good with that, an excellent choice within walking distance to Brown.

Beautiful room! The immediate area is a quaint neighborhood with a coffee shop next door, but it is too far to walk downtown; we took an Uber back at night because even during the day, we felt a bit unsafe walking past the State House and along the river before getting to RISD. In the future I would definitely drive and park downtown instead. Breakfast was the best I've had in a B&B! The check-in process was slightly confusing: you need to only ring the doorbell once and then just trust that they have heard you and are on their way, even though you may have to wait a minute (and you wont hear sound or anything letting you know that you rang the doorbell successfully).

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Christopher Dodge House! My family and I were thoroughly impressed by the comfort and charm of our room. This b&b was lovely. The staff was so welcoming and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and they had a drink station set up and fully stocked for use all day along with some games and books you could borrow. There were a few eating options within a block or so and several sites and different neighborhoods were within walking distance. We only stayed one night, but I wish we had stayed longer.
