He was very helpful about places to visit in the area. Breakfast was wonderful. Just a very relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely go back for a stay.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights here while hiking Acadia. The place was in an awesome location. We didn't want the busyness or expense of Bar Harbor. The owner was VERY helpful recommending places to eat and hikes to do. Although we didn't hike their property, it was beautiful and so peaceful. Breakfast was amazing as well.

This bed-and-breakfast inn is a historic landmark over 200 years old, the owner Ben who has run the Inn sings 1984, he is a gourmet chef, he works in the kitchen every morning, making delicious breakfast for his guests. I would definitely go back to the Inn with my family

The Inn was very charming. Our room was on the top floor (attic) of the old house. The owner was very helpful and really wanted people to enjoy the coast and all it has to offer. The only hiccup for us was the windows in our room did not seal well so cold air leaked into both the bedroom and bathroom and the bedroom window rattled all night when it was windy outside. It is about 57 minutes away from Acadia.

This place was unique. Too far from Bar Harbor. My adult son came up from Boston to join us. We reserved what we thought was a two room suite. It turned out to be a little nook for children; two tiny beds that an adult would not fit in. The tiny room was freezing, No hot water on the day of departure. The breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful location. Having the ocean across the street was incredible. The Wi-Fi was very weak in our room, which when staying in such a beautiful location would not be a priority for us, except a major storm was hitting the east coast and it made it extremely hard to stay up with weather alerts and information from our airline. It is truly a beautiful location.

The inn was a beautiful place to stay. The room was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. We slept well during our stay. The ocean view was really nice. We saw wild turkeys and a beaver on the grounds during our stay. There are many areas to explore on the property. Our host was very informative . He gave us several brochures about the property and surrounding area when we checked in. The breakfasts that we had were outstanding! It is a wonderful place to stay.

First time for us to stay in this type of place. It was clean and cozy. The house was very old and had lots of creaks. So as other guests arrived, it was a bit noisy. Many stairs to climb unless you notified owner a need for ground floor. Felt he was very accommodating and caring.

The property is a set of old Maine homes on the ocean utilized as a Bed and Breakfast. The daily breakfast was fresh made and very good. There was one menu for each morning but they did ask if there were any allergies, food preferences or dietary restrictions and made special meals in those cases. The ocean view was beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings. The beds were fine but the room needs repair. Peeling wallpaper, window shades that are deteriorating, dust/dirt on the top of curtains and the shower head is worn out (an easy, inexpensive fix). Also BE AWARE that there are no TV's on the property and while I was sent a code for wifi, it did not reach to the house that we stayed in. I also recommend that you check-in during daylight. The owners did have specific instructions as to the house we should go to but it would've been easier to find the correct place during daylight. A unique stay geared towards those that are more mobile but we enjoyed the Acadia National Park and surrounding area.

We love staying at older B&Bs. We stayed in the 1820s part of the building. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Views of and proximity to the ocean are fantastic! We ate seven breakfasts there and all were wonderful. Ben puts a new twist on common food that makes it unique and a pleasure to eat.
