Vacations Close To Old French Prison & Museum

The westgate was wonderful! Great entertainment, room nice and clean and so many restaurant options!!

It took over an hour to get checked in. It was unreasonable. They only had 3 staff members checking in a massive line of people.

Rooms were hot and smelly. Pretty run down and not the cleanest. But I guess for that price you can’t expect much more.

The hotel itself was great, the staff was super friendly but I reserved a suite and 2 of the sinks were clogged, I told the front desk but the maintenance never fixed the issue, other than that everything was accessible and user friendly.

Overall the hotel was good - the rooms were nice and comfortable. The pool area was a bit frustrating since almost any lounge chair with an umbrella cost extra - I'm not sure how they can charge a $50/night resort fee and then try to charge you again just to have some shade! The food at the cafes and restaurants were fine but nothing to write about. So this was a good stay, but nothing really stood out except the nice rooms and comfy bed.

1/5 — Horrible experiencia Nuestra experiencia en Mandalay Bay fue horrible y extremadamente estresante. El personal durante el check-in nos trató muy mal y mostró muy poca consideración por nuestra situación. Habíamos reservado específicamente habitaciones conectadas porque viajábamos con niños y bebés y necesitábamos permanecer juntos. Al llegar, nos dijeron que las habitaciones conectadas ya no estaban disponibles debido al partido de los Raiders. Básicamente sentimos que nuestra habitación fue entregada a alguien más y que nosotros tuvimos que aceptar lo que quedaba. Nos ofrecieron un supuesto “upgrade” al W Tower, pero las dos habitaciones estaban en pisos completamente diferentes. Eso no funcionaba para nosotros porque teníamos niños y bebés y necesitábamos estar juntos. Un upgrade no sirve de nada si la habitación no cumple con las necesidades de nuestra reservación. Además, terminamos sin utilizar una de las habitaciones. Preguntamos por un reembolso por esa habitación y nos dijeron que Expedia tenía que procesarlo. Contactamos a Expedia y nos dijeron que el hotel no había aprobado el reembolso. En general, fue una experiencia muy mala y estresante. El servicio al cliente fue terrible y no sentimos ninguna consideración por parte del personal. Para un resort de esta categoría, esperábamos mucho más. No recomiendo Mandalay Bay, especialmente para familias con niños o bebés que necesitan habitaciones conectadas.
