This was very affordable. Staff was good - put us on the main floor on request and allowed me to bring my bike in the room. Pool was adequate, but only had ladders for entry and exit, so very difficult to access for those with mobility issues. Water was not too cold, but the surrounding air seemed chilly! Breakfast was the usual cereal, toast, pancakes (I think). No eggs or meat. Beds were comfortable and the price was right!

The staff were very helpful and quite nice. However, the first room was terrible. Not clean. The front desk staff came to look, took pictures and said she wouldn’t be happy either. Moved to another room that was better but found later what looked to be mold in the bathroom. Windows not locked, floors not clean and woke up to the fridge leaking water. It’s very dated and their cleaning standards don’t seem to be that high.

The air conditioner in my original room wasn’t working, and the toilet flush in the washroom was also not functioning properly. The staff were extremely helpful and quickly arranged another room for me. Unfortunately, the second room also had a washroom issue. Despite the maintenance problems, I appreciated the staff’s professionalism, responsiveness, and willingness to assist. Their excellent customer service made the situation much easier to deal with.

The property and rooms were clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and polite, obviously knew their jobs well and what to expect in a given day based on weather and other outside factors. The restaurant was clean and the food was excellent. The greenery in the main indoor courtyarf gave a nice feel to the environment that is different from what I would normally expect at a hotel. Very nice stay.
