“We had a fantastic stay at De Bergkant in late July. The setting and surrounding view was stunning. We were greeted by Tracey who was manager and head chef. She could not have been more helpful. “Great place and a Lovely room!! But the check in felt a little weird/very rushed. The manager showed us the apartment and explained everything in like 1 minute. It was alot to take in and remember and he talked very fast so I had to ask again several times... It felt like he was in a hurry and that in turn made us feel unwelcome. Very weird customer service. But the place was lovely in a great quiet place with gorgeous surroundings.”

“A hidden gem in Prince Albert. My night at the Swartberg Hotel was a highlight. It blends that Karoo charm with nice modern touches. The rooms are comfortable, the gardens and heritage feel are really special, and the staff were warm and genuinely welcoming. Dinner was excellent, local flavours especially the lamb, relaxed atmosphere, all very Karoo. Perfectly placed for exploring the pass, but also a place you just want to slow down and enjoy. I’d happily recommend it to anyone.”

“I’m sure the property is beautiful but I searched Prince Albert, Sask in Canada and booked Prince Albert, South Africa. The owner never got back to me and I can’t get a hold of Expedia. So, I’m out $300. I will never use Expedia again. PS. I know this was my fault but I feel I was misled by the Expedia website.”
