Our room was very clean and modern. The kids loved the water slides and the hot spring. Good price for what you get. I needed to be in Preston for work and this was a great get away for a few days for the kids and hubby.

They close The pool if there's lightning within 10 mi. So on our arrival we get told this while they have a lobby full of upset guests. I've never heard this before. Even lava Hot springs will let you swim up to 3 MI of lightning nearby and Glenwood Hot springs. Just gives you a warning but allows you to swim if you'd like while it's raining. Crystal, Hot springs does not close at all but apparently Bear River does. So once they finally open the pool just shortly before they closed, the pool is disgusting. I don't know how they don't clean it or how it's not maintained with as much visitors as they get. There is algae at the bottom of all the pools and the seats. It seems as though they do not scrub it at all. It's ran by teenagers which they do the best job they can but the adults are not training them and the one adult that's on site is pretty snobby and rude and condescending to the children. Not sure if they got new management or what's changed but we've been coming here for 6 years and the last year and a half has been ridiculous. The rooms don't even get clean properly. The water pressure in the bathroom and showers cannot possibly produce enough water to scrub the showers properly because you can't even take a shower correctly as the water is a drizzle. I guess if you're into being dirty and out in actual nature, this isn't a preserved area. It's pretty trashy

This place is a hidden gem! Because it is not a very large resort the hot springs were never too crowded. The hotel accommodations were simple but very well maintained. The overall size and quality makes this a place everyone needs to visit when they come to Idaho.

The cabin was a nice step above tent camping with a bed, a big, modern flat screen TV, Keurig coffee machine with good dark roast and other coffee pods, microwave, refrigerator, air conditioner, and heater. The bed was like sleeping on an air mattress, soft and squishy. Bathroom was conveniently located in a separate building and the shower was in the pool, hot springs area. Friendly place, and a nice area to walk around enjoying the ID air.

This property is great . I wish it had a couple rugs to feel a little bit more inviting, and that the bathroom was a little cleaner, but other than that for the price it was great!! The staff is really friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again!
