The hotel is in a remote part of the island, so definitely great for a secluded, private experience. It does feel like a hostel though. On site restaurants close early and there is no room service provided overnight. Dor what it costs to stay in this place, the services leave you a bit vaunted.

Simply The Best!!

From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you are looked after in the best way possible! The hotel staff are some of the most attentive and kind, genuine people i have had the pleasure to meet! The proprty itself is stunning, and is kept pristine at all times. Nothing is out of place. We had the best time ever, and would gladly return in a heartbeat!

A beautiful setting with extremely attentive staff. The Suites are well worth the upgrade. The morning and evening buffet food choices changed every day with excellent varieties. The Spa experience was superb with wonderful views. Would love to return.

Enjoyed our stay. The hotel has beautiful surroundings and solid options to lounge during the day. Bonuses were free parking, complementary place to fill your own water bottles as well as complementary afternoon tea. The location is far from other places on the island, but transport few times of week for anse lazio was offered or easy to rent a car. We also ate at the hotel 3/4 nights, the food was good and seemed like other places on the island were equally pricey. Shout out to Tracey for excellent pedicure!

Our stay at the Coco De Mer hotel was delightful and exactly what we needed. The peaceful ambiance allowed us to fully relax, and the staff were amazing—always smiling, very helpful, and welcoming. Hotel manager Ash was particularly impressive, taking the time to walk around and introduce himself. Tharindu was also fantastic, greeting us with open arms. We organized a wedding anniversary dinner, and it was just beautiful. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, adding to our sense of contentment. We highly recommend Coco Der Mer for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway with outstanding hospitality.

Black Parrot Suites, Praslin

We stayed in Black Parrot Suite 3 which had everything which we needed including a magnificent view from the balcony. A large room with a sitting area from which to enjoy the aforementioned view. We felt it was worth the extra to stay in the Suites as it had a more upmarket feel and what amounted to an almost private beach. The only downside was that the wifi continually dropped out and sometimes refused to connect on our phones although iPads were generally fine. All of the team with whom we had contact were absolutely lovely and very efficient whether it be in the restaurant, the Suites, reception and even the watersports centre. Breakfasts were very good and the evening buffet (for those on half board) was varied. Would we stay again? As an upmarket property away from it all then it`s ideal but you do really need a car if you want to get out and about to explore the island.

We spent 3 nights in a superior room. The room was spacious with shower and bath options and high ceiling. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a secluded area and it has 2 beaches where only access to them are via the hotel property. In terms of shops, bars or restaurants, there is nothing around the hotel but it’s not needed anyways as you can get pretty much everything from the hotel. We had half board option. There is also complimentary coffee/tea with cookies time between 16:00-17:00. The prices for the drinks and the cocktails were reasonable (5-6 € for a glass of wine, 10-12 € for cocktails). Breakfast and dinner buffet had good quality of foods with lots of meat/fish and vegetarian/vegan varieties. We visited the hotel in mid December, it had a bit of sea weeds but it was not the case for every day. Around the pier, one could do snorkeling to see some fishes. There is also a water sport activities offered for free from the hotel, such as kayak, paddle board, etc.

The staff at Coco de Mer hotel is very friendly. They come for some small talk when you have breakfast and make you feel welcome at dinner as well, during the day. The reason why this hotel really was not good for us (and we guess more people) is the highly overpriced rooms. First we got a room that was close to the water refill station, the pool and on the way for all guests to go to their rooms. It was in a corner without any view at the sea. We heard everything and were not able to sleep at the time we wanted. Slept really bad because of all this noice. The matras was hard and pillow did not give any support. Then they moved us to another room, further down the road. A room with a door to another room (connected room). As of that time we were in the room together with our neighbors as we could hear everything they said. They kept on talking until late at night, which kept us up and did not allow us to sleep. We asked the staff to talk to them or help us with this again the next night, nothing happened. For a hotel that costs more then 500 euro per night, I would expect way better service, more privacy, a good bed, better rooms. It really is not wort this money.

Great Hotel in Praslin

Great hotel in Praslin. 2 nice swimingpools and good buffet for breakfast and dinner. Gym is small but enough if you want to do a quick sport time. Watersports free! Great service and kindness of the staff. Beach in front is ok but not the best.
