We loved this hotel! A very old building (Europe-old) beautifully remodeled respecting its historical flavor. Great aircon. Fabulous breakfast. The staff super pleasant and helpful. Close to the Charles Bridge and the Castle, very walkable. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended .

This was my second time staying here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is nearly unbearable. You’re a 5 minute walk from the Charles bridge to old town. The rooms are modern with some old European charm. I highly recommend it and would stay here again.

The staff were really helpful, and the bedroom was very well equipped. The aircon was highly effective. Breakfast was good, and the staff ensured that the buffet was kept stocked. The location is in Malá Strana next to the Senate complex, a short walk from the tram and the metro. Both the Pražský hrad and the Karlův most are very close. Highly recommended.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I accidentally left the do not disturb sign on my door and later asked for a room cleanup and they graciously came and cleaned. The location is in the foothills of the castle and 5 min walk from Charles Bridge towards Old Town. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a lovely place to stay with some charm and air conditioning during the heat wave! We had a family of 4 with 2 young adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable.

Hotel interior was very nicely finished. Something one can't see from outside. Seems very safe neighborhood & not far from most sights worth seeing. The included breakfast was quite god, although the meats provided did not have no-pork meats. The shower door at bottom was not well sealed causing water to leak over to the floor. It would be quite nice if disposable tooth brushes and paste were provided. Despite those, the hotel is quite worth it.

The hotel was in the most perfect location to access all the local attractions. We used the public transport to get to and from the hotel . The metro is located a five minutes walk from the accommodation . Giuseppe greated us with a warm welcoming smile and had a wealth of knowledge to help with our trip. The room was spotless and made up everyday to the same arrival standard. The breakfast was beautiful with a great selection of foods . The waitress was warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I can highly recommend a stay here . We would certainly return without hesitation

Loved, Loved, LOVED the Walstein hotel! It's a historical building remodeled beautifully with all modern comforts respecting the traditional ambiance. Impeccably clean. Our room had 2 separate bedrooms and a little sitting room in the middle. Bathroom with rain shower and nice amenities. The hot breakfast was fantastic! Healthy. With mimosas. Location is great, a short walk to the old town, Charles bridge and historical sites. The staff is so nice and friendly and helpful. We loved Prague, and staying at the Waldstein definitely made our visit even better!

Overall the hotel was great, you really couldn't ask for a better location if you're a tourist. About a 5min walk to the St. Charles Bridge and a 15min walk to the town square. The check-in was a bit odd because they have what appear to be 2 front doors. My wife and I had our two younger daughters in a 2 bed, 2 room and it was perfect. Cold AC, blackout curtains, hot water, fast internet, plenty of room, and a TV and minibar in each room. Breakfast was lacking a bit for your typical European breakfast at a hotel, but it had all the basics and great pastries. The staff was very friendly, but we never really needed anything. Overall this felt like a great value, and I'd highly recommend staying here.

Our 4 nights at Hotel Waldstein in August 2026 were superb. The location is easily accessible by car, meaning one need not haul luggage far over cobblestone, yet a short walk from major attractions near the Charles Bridge. Our family of four were very comfortable in Waldstein's standard family room which has two sleeping areas, and the air conditioning was equal to the challenge presented by a historic heat wave. The lack of lifts in the historic building was not a problem for us - it's a small property that is easy to get around in. The architecture is beautiful, and the cellar breakfast room evokes similar underground spaces of the old city. Service was top notch; I received great assistance handing off laundry to couriers while away. And that brings me to my one note: like most hotels, Waldstein's laundry service is itemized by clothing article at fairly steep rates. It is not the most practical for a family on an extended trip. I was able to use the cleany.cz service which charges by the load. Otherwise, all amenities were excellent. This was one of my best lodging experiences to date.

This was a gorgeous room for our family of four! The bathroom was lovely with a floor warmer a rainfall shower head (although no outlet for my curling iron near the mirror). The location was great and the staff were incredibly hospitable. The breakfast varied in offering from day to day, but there were always eggs, cheeses, meats, fruits, veggies, cappuccinos! We were pleased. Thanks for having us.
