The online listing doesn't do justice to the beauty and amazing location of this property. We ended up extending one night. Everything is a 10-15 min walk and there's lots of restaurants and cafeterías right in front.

This room was so beautiful and well kept and had an amazing view out the window! The place is also on a very quiet street and is a perfect central location to both sides of the bridge. We loved it very much and had a nice stay! Just a few little things to mention about this place is that there are many stairs to get to the room if you are placed on 2nd or 3rd floor which could be difficult for those of older ages or those who cannot walk up steps well. Another note is the check in is a self service check in and the hotel requires you download/use this specific app service which can be confusing if you are not tech-savvy. We had no issues with these exceptions, but just a warning for other travelers!

Beware. All the photos of the rooms appear to be the one large apartment at the top of a lot of stairs. My room did have a nice view of the water but was cramped. I traveled alone and stayed four nights. I was given one pillow and one hand and one bath towel. There was no place to hang the towels to dry. No place to open suitcase except on the sofa. There was a small table and two chairs. I had to keep moving the table around to access kitchenette or window or bathroom. Portable rack for hanging coats and shirts. It either blocked kitchen or bathroom. Mattress was comfortable but after a very unprofessional check-in (I had to reach out on WhatsApp to get the check in form. I got a confusing explanation of my room and the code. A full 24 hours After I checked in I got the proper email with better instructions) Shower floor very slippery. No soap or shampoo. You are over a restaurant which fortunately is not open late but can get noisy. Place is right off the stairs of the Charles Bridge. Great location. But the room just felt hostile. The bedframe is solid wood larger than the mattress by about four inches all round. Easy to bruise your shins. And only one overhead light and one bedside light. Ok for me but this room —with a bed large enough for two— would have been very difficult for two people to navigate. Scuffed parquet floors I can forgive. The stains on the sofa and the sketchy area rug seemed a little less than inviting.

I stayed near Charles Bridge on Kampa Island, allowing me to take daily morning and evening walks from Prague Castle to the Old Town. Despite the bustle of Charles Bridge, just one step down brought me to my own quiet retreat. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Overall, the apartment was very nice. It’s in a fantastic location and is super easy to get to. It’s right under Charles Bridge and only a few minutes walk from the Lennon Wall, so feels very central and accessible for doing touristy things. The apartment that we had (one Queen size bed) was significantly smaller than the photos. That wasn’t a problem, since all we really needed was a comfy place to sleep and shower. The bed is very comfy and the shower was roomy and clean. Just be sure to bring your own shampoo and soap. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that you can hear everything and everyone in the building. Everyone walking by on the stairs and all of the activity happening in the cafe downstairs came right through the walls.

Good, clean stay - close to history

This location was ideal for tourism and travel - it was so close to the historic Charles Bridge and therefore close to the Old town square, Jewish Quarter, and Prague Castle. The room has fantastic details like beautiful flooring and elegant tiling in the bathroom. There were many towels waiting for us and many cups, glasses, plates, and cutlery in the kitchenette. We appreciated the TV and the recommendations left by the host. The Host was also very quick to respond by call and text. We did have a few bumps in our stay that we would like to mention here. Though listed as “river view”, our room actually faced the courtyard (opposite) and very small windows that actually made it difficult to enjoy the view. Maybe it’s luck of the draw - there were 5 other apartments with some of the others facing the river. Ours also happened to be on the 3 floor with no elevator. There were no laundry services and there was no shower curtain. In all, it was a nice, clean stay and we were comfortable once inside.

The location is great if you have few days to explore, however being in the middle of city center makes grocery shopping and general shopping a little challenging, as you will be surrounded by overpriced tourist-traps markets, shops and restaurants. We booked the simplest apartment which was VERY small. I wouldn't mind so much because of the price but for 2 persons it offered little space to move around as the furniture was "in the way" a lot. It was very clean, specially the bathroom which was a plus! There were no amenities though. The pillows were horrible, there were no alternatives so we had neck pain for some days. Keep in mind that there is no reception in this building, it's a self check in and you will need internet or phone line before so you can access the building. if you are non-EU or don't have a decent roaming flatrate on yr phone you might have difficulties, as you'd have to go personally to their reception. The reception gentleman I had on the phone is very helpful and corteous! Overall a good stay for the price+location 7.5/10

The property location is excellent. The reservation process is very complicated. They requested detailed information which we had to fill out before they confirmed. There is no personnel on site and the company’s office is in a different part of town. They made us download their useless app. We made a reservation for a studio apartment but we were not told which one we were getting until the last second. We found out it was the attic apartment on the 4th floor with more than 60 steps with no elevator. We had our 82 year old mother with us (they knew because they registered her passport). We called immediately and they said that they would let us know but never called back. We called again and they said there were no other rooms. Said the they would talk to someone else and let us know. But again never called back. Had to call Hotels.com which was useless. They could not offer any solutions. There was one window facing the light well and someone had set up a smoking station right next to it. So literally you had people sitting inches from your window smoking. So the window had to be closed with the curtains down all the time. No shampoo or shower gel provided. Bring your own. Based on the reviews and location and pictures we were very excited about the rental. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment.
